Very good quality for a beginner, but there is some fret buzzing.

Worked out great for me as a beginning guitarist. The smaller feet spaces make it easy to switch between. The one complain I have is the strength and quality of the sling bolts. They get loosened very easily and have slipped out twice (second time completely stripping the wood, therefor not allowing me to tighten the bolts back on, leaving me with no sling). Overall a good guitar for beginners

We bought this for my 9 year old daughter who wanted to start playing guitar. This is a good starter one for kids. I’m not an expert (but her Teacher is) and said this would work nicely. We did purchase new strings and restrung this but the guitar works great and plays well. My daughter is now 10 and has been playing the guitar (and bass) for a year - no problems w/this guitar. We will upgrade later once she has more experience under her belt but for those kids who are just learning this is a great guitar to start with and the price is just right!

Sharp frets, lots of buzzing, no truss rod. Hard to see this as a good beginner guitar for a youngster.

I am a guitar maker by trade. The thought of buying on of these was a little terrifying. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. This guitar is sized for a grade schooler. It is durable enough to be a toy and precise enough to use as a learner’s instrument. The string height was too high at both ends but once lowered the fretboard was accurate enough to play well. My friends 7 year old will be very happy this christmas.
