This was perfect for our son’s first day of Kindergarten; however the one down side is they put the sticker directly on the board which made a small mark taking it off. It’s not noticeable in pictures but it is close up.

This is the perfect sign to capture all of those first day of school and last day of school memories for your kiddos this year. The sign is a really nice size at 15.7 inches width. It’s reversible and reusable so you can use this sign every year and for multiple kids which makes it super affordable. Opened the box to see a sticker that says “chalk markers only”. I used sidewalk chalk, and luckily it looked cute and was still erasable. Putting a sticker on this chalk board was a terrible idea, we literally had to scrap it off.

This is such a cute first or last day of school board. It has where you can put your teachers name, age, what you want to be when you grow up and more. This is the perfect size for older kids and younger kids can use it as well. You can only use chalk markers on it too. This would be perfect to use for your first and last day of school photos of your children. It has cute colorful stars on it as well. I received an incentive to write this review. How fun is this sign? The front of the sign is fit your kiddos first day of school and the back is all about the last day of school. I love the size and different sections. This item was advertised as needing to be used with chalk markers and I wish I would followed that instruction. I tried multiple different colors of sidewalk chalk but the chalk did not show up well and really made a mess. This chalkboard sign is larger than I expected. It is not too big for younger kids to hold more is it too small for high school age kids. Great for documenting the beginning of each school year. On the reverse side is the last day of school. Use chalk or chalk markers to record your child’s information. Love that this is reusable. This first day of school sign is so cute and you can’t beat the price. It’s very sturdy and will last throughout the school years. The back of it also has last day which is such a good idea to compare how much they’ve grown and learned throughout the school year. I like the front and back - simple and clean design at a good price but nowhere in the item description or pics online does it say I would need a pack of chalk markers to use this item. Only after receiving it did I notice the sticker. Good thing I took a look well before school started! I thought regular chalk would be fine but now we need to get a $10 pack of them. Bit annoying but not enough to return I guess (maybe they're all like this?). The ones from Mondo Llama aren't on sale either so the "A" company has them for slightly cheaper.
