Q: Is Old Macdonald Had A Farm one of the tunes the farm plays? What animal sounds does it play? Does the chicken actually sit on the nest where the eggs are? Do grain pieces come out of the silo?

A: This does have a cow portion of the Old Mac Donald song. It also makes the sounds of the animals that come with the set. The chicken sits on the other side of the eggs and there is no grain in the silo.

Another mom recommended this toy and I got it for my 1 year old and when it arrived I wasn’t so sure he would get much use out of it because it seemed very simple for such a large toy. I was shocked that the animal figures became his favorite toy for 3 months straight. This was our first little people set and I now understand why people rave about them! It was much larger than I was expecting but I think if you already have little people sets, you’re already used to how much space they take up.
