The potty holder is way too small. One of my sons can hold for a long time, so he fills it up almost all the way. And both my sons (regardless of how full the potty holder is) end up getting potty splashed elsewhere when they sit down on it. This isn't just because they are boys, because this doesn't happen with our other little toilet we have.

Too Small and It’s Haunted

Bought this for my little brother and it was too small for him. He didn’t use it but it was a nice idea. The concept of the theme tune playing when it is used is very cool but he hasn’t used it in months as it hurt his bum and it’s just been sitting in the bathroom. Sometimes the potty song would go off when it’s not even in use. It went off 3 times at 12am, when everyone was asleep. We turned it off but the song kept randomly playing. Either this item is haunted by a poltergeist force or our house is ridiculed with paranormal spirits. Would recommend for a younger child but if it starts to play the song randomly dispose of it in a bonfire. As we have done. Have fun! It’s a nice novelty potty training object. Buy to train your kids but don’t put the batteries in.

My son loves this potty, it's a good height and has a nice wide seat. But the design is poor for a boy because the urine shoots up under the red piece and you have to clean both under the red seat and the handle of the white bowl every time. Looking at most of the FP potties I assume they would all have the same problem.

Repackaged

We bought this potty from Edina, MN Target. My son was so excited to use it, so we got it out of the box right away when we got home. I right away noticed sticker residue on one part of it, and a slight smell of urine. Then I found part of an old kid sticker on one of the feet. This chair had clearly been used, and in it's condition, used for awhile before being repackaged and sold to me. I brought it all the way back to the store, where the person at the returns desk didn't seem too disturbed that I had bought another family's pee/poo chair in my house for my son to use. I am worried it will again be repackaged and sold to another family. I couldn't find anywhere else to review the store independently, and when I called customer service, they said I needed to talk directly to the store. Lastly, once we made the exchange for a brand new, never used potty, we did realize it's as the reviewer above said, little boys pee right off the front of it when they sit. If someone from the Edina store reads this, I would love to hear your repackaging rules/policy, I will not be returning to that store if at all possible. Your disregard for other's hygene and safety is such a bummer.

Kiddo figured out nearly instantly if he stepped in the bowl all sorts of awesome sounds happened. After that it became a 3 piece puzzle to tear apart. Hopefully it will be less interesting in upcoming days. Red seat does snap to the toilet snugly but that alone isn't worth the price.

Disappointed - bad design

I bought this potty a few months ago and was very excited to use it as incentive for my 2 year old son to potty train. I have tried for months to figure a way to not have urine spilling over, but it is impossible. I had read the reviews stating that there were issues with messes due to the design of the potty, but I was hoping that I would teach my son to aim down with his legs apart and it would be okay. About one time out of 5 there is no mess. The design inside is completely different than the Duck potty which works great. So almost every time, I have to take the potty apart and clean everything including the floor. Very disappointed. I saw the other review on this potty and will be calling customer service and hope that they will reimburse this product.

So glad I bought this! My 2 year old son wanted to use it as soon as it came out of the box. It makes train noises when it senses something in bowl and it can be used as a stool as well. We’ve had it for a week and my son is basically potty trained!
