about this item

The first time you try our PowerGear2™ Pruner, you’ll be amazed — but it’s not magic, it’s gears. Our patented gear technology multiplies your leverage to give you up to 3X more power on every cut. So you can power through tough stems and branches that you wouldn’t be able to cut with traditional pruners. For easy, comfortable pruning, our pruner also includes a contoured handle with a unique rolling design that fits the shape and natural motion of your hand. Our updated design includes modified gears and an innovative cam mechanism to optimize your cutting power in the middle of the cut where the branch is thickest and you need it most. The result is that every cut is even easier than our original PowerGear® cutting tools. In fact, this pruner makes cutting so much easier it’s earned the Arthritis Foundation’s® Ease-of-Use Commendation.

Loved the way they cut, But after my last cut they wouldn't close and I don't see any way to fix them as the blades interfere with each other  see moreof sukey's review

I have had 2 pair of this style clipper for 7-8 years. I love the design because it is easy on my arthritic hands. They have been sharpened to much so I decided to replace them. I bought 2 pair--one for me and one for my husband. They cut nicely, but the design is awful. The latch that holds the...  see moreof Electron Annie's review

I love Fiskars' products but REALLY don't like the way these feel in my hand. That bottom handle turns as you close them to cut something which is weird and doesn't help cut better. PLUS my left-handed sister can't help me because they don't work for her at all. Save $10 and get the regular Fiskars'...  see moreof 7ChiMom's review

I bought this pruner recently and found it very easy to use. I love the way the handle fits and rolls in my hand when I use it. Requires minimal strength to cut through small branches. #1 rated pruner by Popular Mechanics magazine & recommended by arhritis foundation!  see moreof FishinFool's review

I love these pruners. I have them in a three-piece set at our other house, but I only needed these here. They fit very well in your hand so are comfortable to use. And they make clear, sharp cuts.  see moreof Joan Weiss's review
