Fiskars PowerGear2 25" Lopper

After using this tool for several months on branches, bushes, and scrub, I can say that it is the best lopper we have owned. Staying within the prescribed diameter, we have found the cuts to be clean. I find that the tool is easy to operate and doesn't jam. A definite thumbs up!

These are easy use, light weight and work well on medium branches for trimming. These are the best trimmers I have owned.

These product is designed with modified gears to used through all thicker branches. I am actually considering getting this product as a Christmas gift for my father and brother. It’s come in so much use around the yard. I for one love the color. My husband was impressed that I was able to do the shrubs with no hassle. Highly recommend this product.

I was able to get through some branches that I thought there was no way these would cut. It went right through them with little to no effort at all. I highly recommend these for any branch trimming you have to do.

The grips are easy to handle. The sharpness was perfect even for the stronger branches. Being 25” long makes it convenient to reach further away and into the bushes/tree branches.

The shape of the blade allows for a more precise cut of limbs and vines. I've used them on my rose bushes, crepe myrtles, and those pesky roots that grow up around the crab apple tree. Relatively light weight too when compared to other shears I've used. Overall, these are my "go-to" when I want to trim around the yard because they are so versatile and easy to handle.

This Fiskars loppers is very well made, sturdy and high quality tool. The weight is just right that I hold and cut branches comfortably. The blade is so sharp that it cuts through branches within minutes. The handle is covered with soft grip makes my yardwork much more enjoyable and less hassle.

Love the long handles and they are fairly lightweight. My mother has borrowed them several times and they are even easy for an 86 year old to use

I have trimmed my trees and bushes that are close to my house and around my hose spigot. Works great and cuts really well. I don’t have a ton of strength in my hands due to an injury and these were really easy for me to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference these make. I have an off brand that I have been using and then when I got the Fiskars 25" PowerGear2. I couldn't believe how amazing they are. They make work fun. They are very sharp and feel like they take little effort to use, unlike the other brand I have used in the past. They can easily cut thru a 2" limb. Great for trimming a bush or a tree limb.

I can tell that the looper is very sharp. I was able to but multiple branches easily in one day. I like that it has a nice little reach to cut higher branches. I do recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Fiskars PowerGear2 Loppers. I needed something that was easier for me to use because I don't have the best grip or hand strength. I have to say this loppers works great! So far everything I've cut, the loppers cut through it like butter! The handles are easy for me to grip & it even with my weak hand strength (I think I'm starting to get arthritis), I was able to cut through branches 1"+ with no problem. For the larger branches, you do have to open the handles pretty wide, though, so if you are in tight quarters, it can be a little tough getting it in place. Other than that, though, I think this is the best pair of loppers I've ever had.

The extra sharp blade and ratchet gear design makes these ideal for branches too think for a hand pruner and up to 1-3/4" thick. These made quick work of a branch that was 1-1/2" dry hickory. In order to open these up to the full width, the handle have to rotate almost 180 degrees. Meaning you will need some clearance around the larger objects you are cutting. I could see that being problematic trying to cut large branches in a confined space. Other than that, I think these are a great addition to any landscapers tool bench!

I've been really impressed with how sharp they are and what great cuts they make. They have not gotten stuck at all like I've had other loppers do. They are lightweight so I was surprised at how tough they are, I'm 90 pounds so between them being lightweight and having superior sharpness it has cut my pruning and trimming time in half. They open and close easily and are very comfortable for me to use. The quality is excellent! Also being a shorter person I appreciate that they are 25" so are easier for me to handle as when using them they don't require you to extend the handles really wide for a good cut. I highly recommend Fiskar loppers!

Cut down a tree and with so many limbs different sizes, I was still able to utilize this one pair of trimmers. It cut through those limbs like butter and with what I thought, not much effort. Definitely worth purchasing!
