Disappointed - 13 days ago
This is the second Fitbit device to totally fail on me right after the one year warranty is up, and the company would not honor any repair or replacement. Very dissatisfied with the product quality and the company’s customer support. Don’t buy one!

My watch had syncing issues and was often unresponsive to touch. The entire face of the watch detached. Poorly made. Only lasted a little over 1 year.

I owned an Alta HR since 2015 and had no problems until it died a few weeks ago. I ordered the Luxe because it was similar in style and not too complicated. the setup was easy and now I am back to tracking my steps and other health markers as I wish. it has a white band with gold trim in watch - very prettt and practical. I hope it lasts as long as the Alta!

Despite taking precautions to keep my fitbit clean and dry, the display started to fizzle out within about two months, and is now completely broken. I tried resetting it, letting it die and recharging it, etc., to no avail. Because I passed the return window, I'm stuck with it. Would not buy it again, or at least not from Target.

Exactly what I needed! Slim, elegant, accurate. I’ve been wearing it nonstop for over 4 months. I switched from an Apple Watch and this tracks way more things (detailed sleep analysis) and the app is better.

Bought one for myself for Christmas. The band starting breaking after two months. It’s April now and it completely blacked out. I can’t get it to turn on. I messed up by not getting warranty either.

Alarms break the motor

Kejeki - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
It was wonderful until it stopped working. I had this product for about a year and a half before it stopped working, and my daughter had one for several months. We've narrowed the breaking down to using alarms. Mine worked perfectly though daily wear, swimming, exercising, etc. until I set a daily alarm to replace one on my phone. Suddenly I started having battery issues. At first it would simply use a lot of battery each day and I realized the timing so I turned off the alarm, but the damage was done. It started dying anytime I met my step goal because it vibrated. It would get half way though the vibration notification and go dead. But when I plugged it in, it still showed high battery life, it just wouldn't wake the screen or count steps or anything until I plugged it in again. Then it started "dying" half way through the day but plugging it in it shows at least 60% battery. It's unusable now because it "dies"and doesn't count steps or display the watch even when charged. My daughter used her Fitbit for alarms from the very beginning. She didn't have any battery issues, but she was missing alarms. We set several test alarms and none of them went off. We came to the conclusion that you just can't use this Fitbit with alarms because it ruins the motor and then the Fitbit altogether.

I loved it the first three months. A couple of weeks ago the band started detaching from the FitBit (luckily I caught it and put it back on), but last week it fell off when I was working an event and never found it! Such a bummer - seeing that others have had the same issue I would. It recommend!

Doesn’t seem to track sleep and when I tap it, it doesn’t always turn on the screen. Good fit, don’t even know it’s there most of the time but I will return for a bigger screen so I can tap on it and the screen work.

This is my 4th FitBit and by far it has been the worst. Horrible battery life, features that turn off on their own, and poor tracking have me searching for an alternative.

Love the pulse tracker and the sleep tracker. I was sleeping much less than I thought I was. Definitely not getting the right amount. The face is a little hard to figure out if you get off the main screen. It's hard to get back to the clock part lots of different choices in there up down sideways backwards It's hard to get back to the beginning.

I had a different fitness watch for 4 years! The same one without one issue. I decided to switch to the Fitbit because I didn’t need anything fancy and I liked the simple style. The first watch lasted 2 months and the screen suddenly had a bunch of green vertical lines. They shipped me a replacement which is a refurbished item. The screen is glued in funky so the top is all rough around the edges. But whatever, I was ok with that. Well, here it is 3 weeks later and the screen is just showing some blue vertical lines. I started noticing it was glitching after I was clapping at a wrestling match. So both of them went out and neither had been dropped or gotten wet. Clapping for sure did this last one in. Don’t wast your money…

Screen Failed

I had my luxe Fitbit for less than a month when it stopped working. Everything was going well at first. Steps and sleep tracking were precisely what I wanted. I loved the simple design and the band options. Suddenly, the screen in display mode shows only stripes and no words or numbers. The data still appears in the app but I really wanted to be able to use the watch, timer, tracking, etc. on the actual Fitbit. After doing more research, it appears that this is a reoccurring problem with this model. Fitbit needs to take these off the market until the problem is resolved. Returning.

Can't read time or info on screen because screen is frozen (can still feel signals), needs frequent recharging. Several Fitbit expert friends have tried to help to no avail. Online tips/videos were not helpful. It seems that a device like this should last longer than 6 months. I loved it in the beginning (especially the 10 minute hourly signal to exercise) and I like the band.
