It's a really cute lamp, I love the style/design. But, it is short. I did check the height before I purchased, so I knew it was significantly shorter than I wanted, but it also seems to be the standard/typical height for lamps these days. So I compromised to get the style I loved.

I bought this lamp in brass and ended up returning it. First, I didn't like the tone of the brass (too yellow), as I prefer an antiqued brass. The lamp shade wouldn't stay on straight either. I ended up spending less than $100 for a beautiful lamp at birch lane and it's the same or better quality.

I loveeeee the look of this floor lamp! I was afraid the “brass” would look too orange but it’s actually ok. It gives off the antique lacquer but with a hint of modern brass. The assembly was straight forward, took me less than 10 minutes. I was shocked at how big the lamp shade was in the box but once you put it together, it actually fits perfectly! Surprisingly, my plans for the floor lamp looked so similar to Studio McGee’s design on the box!! I was in love.

Really cool lamp. Packaging all wrong. I got black. To me it's classic. The packaging, however, horrible. My shade , which buy the way is huge, was smashed at crown and crimped on skirt. So disappointed. Customer service gave me a full refund and let me keep it. Honestly, it's no good if you can't use the shade. The shade is unique to design. I did assemble it to see what I was missing out on and one of the poles you screw together was even bowed. Really studio mcgee? You missed the mark on this one. I had the choice to get another or accept refund. Did not want to get another woth a crumpled shade. I noticed other people had issues with the shade as well...
