[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cage is nice, colorful. The cats arm and eyes moving are super cute, it's a simple game, was fun for the littles but with the feathers being so lightweight they went everywhere round after round or clinged to the table or the cat itself, we'll probably play without them in the future as they're not essential. The lever lowers the bird back down to reset the game and it got stuck a few times where it wouldn't stay down, between the feathers and the lever it was longer to set up than the actual playing time. The small storage drawer is JUST big enough to fit everything, as in you have to fit it a certain way but at least it can all be together for easy storage.

My children love this game so much and it is perfect for my younger guy to help him with learning differnt skills like taking turns. My children have played this over and over and I believe this will become a staple in our game choices!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute game, but a bit of a pain while playing. The concept is adorable, but the feathers are very small, hard to grasp especially for tiny hands, and slows the flow of the game when needing to pick them up. I would think if they were a bit heavier or a thicker plastic, it would be much easier and less work.

Needs Bigger Pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the game itself is engaging, the product leaves something to be desired. The pieces for the game are so incredibly tiny that it is nearly impossible to keep track of the pieces. We will surely lose most pieces over time. I wish the pieces were larger and easier to keep track of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game where you have to find the right key to unlock the bird trapped in the birdcage. When you find the key that unlocks the cage the bird escapes and feathers pop out from behind. My kids liked the suspense of not knowing when the feathers would come flying out of the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is great for younger children and it’s easy for adults to put together. Parents will also enjoy that it comes with its own storage container at the bottom of the cage. The only criticism is the feathers because they are tiny and made of paper thin material they got lost very quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I surprised the kids with this game on our vacation for them to play on a rainy day! The kids were 4, 6, 7, 8. It was a easy set up process. The younger boys really enjoyed it! The girls had fun at first but then decided to go do something else while the boys kept playing! The boys even asked to play it again the next day! It was fun to watch them enjoy playing together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a cute game for little kids. My 4 yo absolutely loved it and has been working on counting so this was the perfect game to help him. The bird stays in the cage but hides away at be times. The feathers definitely fly and are tiny. The tokens are detailed very well, the cat's eyes move back and forth when turning the key as well as the tail moves. Highly recommend this game for those with younger children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this game with my 3-year-old and 5 year old and we had a lot of fun! The idea of the game is that you try out different keys to open the bird cage, and when the cage opens it sends these little feathers flying into the air. The game is simple enough for young kids to understand and the surprise of the cage opening and feathers flying keeps the kids interested. I also like that it helps younger kids with number recognition and counting, as well as fine motor skills . I think there are a few improvements that could be made to this game. For one, the feathers are so minuscule and I am certain they will be lost in no time. The feathers aren't crucial for gameplay so we'll still be able to play, but the feathers flying around are a fun part of the game. Second, the numbers on the back of the keys could be more distinct and easier to read so that the kids could identify the numbers easier. Lastly, all the pieces are supposed to fit in the drawer at the bottom of the cage but the drawer is not quite deep enough. You have to really jam it in there to get the drawer to close after you put all the keys in. If the drawer was just a tiny bit deeper I would have made clean up much easier, especially for the kids to clean up on their own. The box says the game is for kids five and older, but I think even kids as young as 3 can enjoy this game. Even with those three small suggestions for improvements, I still really love this game and I'm glad we have it. I think this will definitely be a family favorite for a while.

Quick, Easy, Fun Game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flying Feathers is a game with a simple concept... free the bird from the cage before the cat gets it. Players (youngest goes first) each take turns picking a key from the pile and turning said key in the lock the number of times it says on the key (1-4). If your key turn frees the bird the cage door will pop open, feathers will fly up from the back, you get to pick a token, and then go first the next round. First player to collect 3 tokens wins. Now I have to be honest this game needs some improvements. 1. The feathers are way too tiny and are definately hard to keep track up. They get lost easily so need to be bigger. 2. The storage drawer is great but also alittle too small to fit all the tokens, keys, and feathers in comfortably without it getting jammed so that could be deeper to accommodate proper storage of pieces. 3. The mechanism in the back that you push down doesn't always engage and gets stuck leaving the bird to be freed the first key turn so that could use a fixing. 4. The tokens are ok but could be better made to withstand wear since the cardboard most likely will start to peel over time. Something else to note is I found myself having to hold the game steady so that it wouldn't tip over when my 5yr old took his turn. Although he enjoyed the game, my 9 year old didn't really care for it and got bored fairly quickly. This easy concept game seems to be better suited for preschool aged not older kids. Flying feathers was a quick, easy and fun game to play but I wouldn't recommend it unless improvements were made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my 6 yo and 3 yo really enjoyed this game. It's something they can easily pay together without mom and dad's help. Its been difficult keeping my 3 yo interested in board games as they can be a little too advanced for her. I like how the drawer will hold the many little pieces. My only concern is how long will it take until we lose the small red feathers! Overall, fun game for young ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love playing Flyin Feathers. It’s great that multiple kids can play together and they all loved the element of surprise of when it’s going to go off. My 5 and 8 year old were able to set it all up and figure out the directions on their own. They also taught friends to play easily too. I will say that the feathers and little cards are very small and I fear we will lose them quickly. But overall it’s fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our first time getting a game and we were pleasantly surprised. It was totally assembled with the only exception of popping out the cardboard tokens which took a minute or so to pop out. The setup is easy enough for kids to do without a parents help which is good because the games can go quickly depending on the random key turns. It’s fun and entertaining and easy to play. The directions are also easy enough for a child to explain to friends who have never played before. It holds interest for a couple of rounds, but seems like a fun game to want to come back to later on the day or even the following day. The box is pretty bull considering the game itself isn’t too big. Also, the drawer below was a clever idea to contain such SMALL pieces, but could have used a bit more space to contain everything of being cleaned up/put away by a child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun game. My 6 and 9 year old were able to set it up and play together without any assistance. My only complaint is that there are a lot of small pieces with the keys and feathers. They have played with it off and on pretty regularly since they received it and both enjoy it (but especially my 6 year old). I don't think the feathers will last long unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three girls had a great time playing this game. It is easy enough to understand that they could play it on their own and set it back up after the bird was released. It kept them busy for quite awhile and they've asked to play it every day. This would be especially good for younger kids learning to count as the keys have numbers on the back and you have to turn the key that number of times. Once the bird is released a poof of feathers comes out of the back of the cage and my girls loved that. The little game pieces look like newspapers at the bottom of a bird cage and I found that to be clever. Overall great family game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A simple game that is great for younger children. The box does say 5+ however I will say that it could probably be better for younger kids 3+. My 7 year olds interest wasn’t held much because it was a little too easy and the game went super fast; however my 5 year old was more invested and enjoyed playing it over and over
