Take the "stiks" (sticks) part of this product's name very seriously. The box was delivered with other items and broke open during shipping making the situation worse.

These are lightweight, but sturdy. It’s a relief to have alternatives to plastic that are eco friendlier.

Compostable cutlery is an excellent idea. These are a little less flimsy than disposable plastic. They're reminiscent of the wooden stick that comes with ice cream cups. Unfortunately, the spoon isn't very spoony. It's almost flat.

These sppon/fork/knife 24 piece set is great for parties and get-togethers! I really enjoy using this product for daily usage, whether it be for lunch, picnics, BBQs, birthdays, or just as an alternative to plastic utensils! The design is modern and stylish. This product is 100% natural, compostable and renewable, so I feel confident in using this product over plastic utensils. This product is eco-friendly and made from quality wood. The surfaces are smooth and polished and just enhace the dining experience. The overall quality is quite excellent and can be used in many applications. These are SO cool! Flat, easy to pack design. I can throw one into my daughter's lunchbox and know it won't be misplaced. Perfect for picnics, outdoor dining, in the car as extras. These would be excellent in a eco-friendly gift basket. I hope more products like these are offered at a good price point. There are so many things I'd love to try but the up front cost can be a little high sometimes. I've attached pictures of ideas for baskets or table settings using handmade or thrifted items for added charm! Throw in some homemade canned items, some fresh or dried herbs, local made cheeses, some cute napkins and rings, tea. Shown are handcrafted wash cloths, beeswax wrap, vintage napkins and rings, some cute little plates. Whatever your theme!

The idea behind the wooden disposable cutlery is great, and if you're looking to reduce plastic waste, this is absolutely something you're going to want to buy. But I will never get past the taste of wooden spoons and forks (brings back memories of the little spoon that came with the ice cream). They're sturdy but I still always worry they're going to break (and for the record I worry about this with plastic too.) They're fine but not great.

Responsibly made in China from Birchwood, this disposable compostable cutlery set is mediocre and plain. The concept is good but the quality is lacking. The spoon is not deep enough to hold food, the fork is okay, and the knife is small and to my surprise, it will cut fruit. It felt weird and uncomfortable eating with wood but it is a better sustainable alternative to plastic waste.

I’m always looking for reusable utensils to use at home and on the go. We don’t like using the silverware when we eat out and prefer to use our own reusable utensils. This is a great alternative and I was excited to try them out. So far they are amazing and we take them everywhere with us.

If you want to feel like a kid eating that cheap ice cream with the wooden stick spoon then maybe give these a try. I admit they look cute and it's nice to be environmentally friendly. The spoon you can see is not very spoony, it's too flat and shallow, not at all functional for soup or cereal. It might work for a coffee stirrer. Or ice cream! My two main issues with these are: they taste like wood, they feel rough and unpleasant in my mouth.

This review is for Foodstiks Compostable Wood Cutlery set. The set is a 24 piece set including 8 each Forks, Knives and Spoons. They are made from 100% natural Birch wood. I have been using them for a few of my meals lately and I have to admit I am really impressed. They are very durable and appear to be of very good quality. The package indicates they are for single use only and are the only sustainable alternative to plastic cutlery. I would definitely be proud to utilize these for my next outdoor event as they look nice and as I mentioned are very durable. They are approx 6.5" in length and ideal for travel use such as for a picnic or camping. An additional note about the company Foodstiks is that according to the package, they only use wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. I recommend this product!

I’m so excited to use these compostable wood utensils for the upcoming holiday season! I’m all for simplicity in preparation but have cut out single use plastic. These look great and do the job without harming the planet. The cost is more than plastic cutlery but well worth it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sustainable alternative to disposable cutlery!
