These are perfect to leave natural or to paint in your own way, colors for your decor style. I have bought several for *Rainbow Bridge* pet memorials and painted them, to give to grieving pet parents as a memento that while this is a sad time, there is also happiness and Memories don’t end. Especially with a strong bond. There are lots of other meanings too! The unfinished wood is a perfect color and accepts paint well. I have used acrylic & watercolor to give a “light color wash” effect. I would love to see Target keep stocking these but I know as the season changes, so does the merchandise. Buy a few, you won’t be disappointed. They are blocky & chunky and So cute and the quality is there!!
