I’m super pale and typically stick to the Jergans formula but my local target was wiped. Saw color literally HOURS later and seemed a little unnatural (orangish hue) for my taste. Also a little patchy/streaky if you don’t wipe the excess off. Smells like self tanner which is expected.
I’m on day 2 so far. My skin tone is pale - Like lightest ivory/porcelain pale. This has tanned me. The color is kind of a golden yellowish hue...not orange. No streaks; just wash excess from your hands, toes and ankles and whatnot. It does smell like self tanner...I don’t think you can escape that with any brand, but hey...if you’re stuck at home due to the Covid 19 pandemic, right now is the best time to smell bad lol. As for the firming effects, I don’t know yet. I think the bottle says it takes a week to notice that. I honestly don’t have any hopes or expectations there, so if it DOES help in that way, I’ll be pretty surprised. For $5-6 you can’t really beat it. At least I’m not orange and streaky. I’m kind of olive-amber-Asiany at this stage.
my legs are white white white and i was hoping to get some color to them before the summer season so i got this stuff. its not the most useless stuff out there, but i don't feel like its taken me from fair to medium. more like fair to less fair. but idk if thats the fault of the product or my skin. i put it on daily, after exfoliating in the shower, so theres no reason it shouldn't take. on the plus side it doesn't have a funky smell and doesn't leave residue on my hands or knees/ankles.
I decided to try Target's brand of bronzing lotion after I ran out of Jergens, and I am very pleased! I noticed color after the first day of use and it doesn't have a orangish tint to it like Jergens. After applying this lotion, the scent goes away completely, whereas the Jergens smell is very obvious and lasts all day. When I was using Jergens, every time I would shave I could see I was shaving off the color as well, and I haven't noticed that with this lotion. Lastly, it's a few dollars less than Jergens, and a far better product!
