A: We recommend using this as part of a 3 step process. During bath time, use the mask to loosen the flakes as step one, followed by our Flake Fixer to remove the flakes as step 2 and finish with our scalp spray. Repeat this process daily until your little one's scalp is flake free :).

This scalp mask and scalp spray did wonders for my son’s cradle cap! He is 6 months old and struggled with cradle cap since he was a newborn and it has recently gotten even worse and I didn’t know what to do! I bought this and I have already seen a significant improvement after only two uses! There are still a few flakes, but his had is looking ten times better than it did before! Highly recommend! (I didn’t want to spend more money on the fridamom flakefixer thing to remove the the flakes, I just used a baby comb and it worked just as good!)

Cradle cap gone! I noticed after the second used it drastically improved my baby scalp is now clear! You can also use it on neck rolls, baby had skin flaking there too and it is now gone.

I normally like the frida brand products however, the cradle cap stuff didn’t seem to work at all for my baby. My first baby had cradle cap and there was a different product I bought that worked after one use but I couldn’t remember the brand since it’s been so long, so I tried this one. It just seems to moisturize it a little bit but it comes right back after it’s soaked in. It only looks good temporarily, but it doesn’t actually fix the problem even with using a cradle cap brush. My baby’s pediatrician recommended me to get a couple drops of head and shoulders to put in her shampoo to try to help with the cradle cap instead.

Super drying. Not good for sensitive skin, easily irritated, red bumps after taking a bathe. Used it for 3 weeks, did not help clear the cradle cap but worsen it with irritation. End up just using olive oil and regular mild baby shampoo to clear cradle in a week.

Any mamas who have baby’s with cradle cap: BUY THIS ASAP. My 8wk old son doesn’t have a severe case, but he is definitely visibly flakey but also his head has this funky odor. Combing through the flakes with baby oil wasn’t cutting it. BUT THIS PRODUCT ACTUALLY REMOVED SO MUCH. I will admit I think he lost a good chunk of hair but I’m so relieved to be seeing a difference after just ONE wash. After the bath and using the leave-in conditioner there were loose flakes that needed to be combed out (see photo) but a huge improvement. Looking forward to future uses to see continued improvement.

My 1.5yr olds cradle cap came back and looked way different than it did when he was a newborn. It looked like dark blotches/spots all over the top of his head but didn’t stick up at all. I worried this wouldn’t work, but after one use the cradle cap is basically gone and he didn’t lose any hair with it! So glad I finally tried this stuff and will definitely have it on hand with future babies! I wish I had taken a before picture.

Does not work at all, as I’m massaging his hair with this it only moisturizes the cradle cap and make hair sit into it and the drys up hard with all the hair stuck into cradle cap when I try and brush it out the cradle cap will come of but with multiple strands of hair. My baby has lost more hair than cradle cap since using this.

After using routinely for about a month, I have determined that the mask is ineffective at treating my baby’s cradle cap. It does not soften or break up the cradle cap so it can be removed. I like the smell and I like how the leave in spray moisturizes my baby’s hair, so for those reasons I give two stars. However, I would not recommend and I will not repurchase.
