Frigidaire Professional Ice Maker

We've had it 10 days so far and it's already made our lives easier! We've been making our ice MANUALLY 20 years! It's a great buy for the pricepoint. It's a good size, tucks away nicely under my cabinets. I may have read some reviews on other sites saying that the ice melts. I can't say that ours melts, but I can say that the ice isn't SUPER solid. The ice does melt fairly quickly, once added to your drink. It's always wet, but ours have never fully melted, hopefully you get what I mean. We get ice throughout the day, so I would imagine if you're not home all day, you may come home to melted ice. The machine is constantly whirring, making ice, so there's noise coming from it a majority of the time. It doesn't bother us at all, but just wanted to mention, in case it's important to others. I would say that on a scale of 10, it would be an 8, defintley noticable, but not a deal breaker for us. Again, it's made our lives easier, so that's everything!

I’m so dopey that I didn’t read to see if it keeps the ice cold which it does not. It makes decent ice pretty quick but if you Dont remove it while it’s getting made, it sticks together in the freezer. It is very handy though. I keep it on top of my water cooler so it’s real easy to fill up

Just got this machine and have been trouble shooting for several hours now. It will not dispense any ice and just continues to make the same grinding sound every few minutes despite following all the steps

If you like soggy ice cubes (yes, it is a thing( then this is for you. I've had it for 4 months, and it is maybe adequate. It is not a good value, for the price. The $89 model would have been better. The product states to refill water, when it is full. It's ice cube basket, basically sits in the water well, giving you soggy cubes.

Stopped working after haven't used it 2 months.

It stated it was stainless steel. And the picture on the box shows a gray color. I opened the box and the color is blue.

The ice sizes do not different it appears to us. But it makes ice, pretty quickly. Someone complained about it not keeping ice the cool enough to keep from melting. I don’t think it’s meant for that. It has an “ice full” indicator light so you can move the ice to a freezer, it only stores a small basket’s worth anyway (1.5 plus I think, which is really nothing with water bottles we use these days). We bought this because our freezer ice maker is broken and this was more than $200 cheaper than fixing that right now. It makes ice fast- we like it!

Love fact it is fairly quiet and as stated make ice quickly, only thing I wished was better was ice storage , it does start melting as soon as it is ejected into ice tray so unless you want to keep emptying it, the ice will start melting.

Wonderful, it makes just the right amount of ice. I can choose large or small pieces of ice. Totally economical and worth the money.

This icemaker was much more cheaply made than the last Frigidaire. It only lasted 7 MONTHS!!! And half of that time it was not working properly. It made smaller ice cubes than it was supposed to plus other quirks and misfires. Definitely not worth the money spent.

I have had mine for almost three years! Highly recommend.

User friendly, easy to set up

Takes forever to make ice and it’s not even frozen enough once it’s made . Not satisfied

This machine is pretty quiet and efficient. I use the large size pellets as my preference. They are still small to me but I like them better. I've learned to dry out the machine when it isn't in use so it doesn't mold. Leaving the lid open when not in use also keeps it dry. A paper towel does the job well after pulling the plug in the bottom and draining out the excess water in the holding tank. I purchased the 2 year warranty because I know I will use this machine quite often.

not quite a year old and has issues. won't make ice , goes through the motions , but , no ice . it's been cleaned , took the back cover off , cleaned the coils , which weren't very dirty or dusty , tried the re-set , still no ice , so , maybe see how much a new condenser will cost , if it's even worth it , otherwise , junk
