The Pilot Frixion Waai erasable gel pens offer a unique writing experience with their smooth ink flow and comfortable grip, making them ideal for note-taking, journaling, and planning. While the erasable feature works effectively, some colors may appear faint on paper, which could be a concern for those seeking bold visibility. Overall, these pens combine functionality with a stylish design, appealing to guests who appreciate both aesthetics and practicality in their writing tools.

Pass - not good quality!
These do not write well at all. They have very little pigment, they’re very streaky and they skip a lot. They do erase well, but that’s the only positive. Pass on them!

Its a miss
I love the Pilot Frixion line up but this one is a miss. The ink is so light that it feels like the pen is on its last line even straight out of the package.

Aesthetically, nice looking pens. However, they write SO light you can barely see anything and they are NOT smooth at all. The image is extra close up, if you were to see it from a normal distance you wouldn’t be able to see the ink (except for the black)

NOPE
These pens are awful! They are very light and seem like they put of ink while writing. Do not recommend.

Do Not Buy
These pens are very low quality and too light to notice on notes, I’m very disappointed.

These pens always seemed like they were out of ink, even right out of the box. They were very dull and not smooth writing at all. Do not recommend

Not really that great
Just realized after buying in store there’s two blue pens instead of one black but the other colors are there , I opened and when I tested some didn’t really write well. The eraser didn’t erase that well too

Worst frixion pens. You can’t even see them on paper- don’t waste your money.

Not Really Eraseable w/ Pen Test
When I was in High School, the Pilot FriXion Erasable Gel Pens were my go-to pens when writing notes. Several years later, I graduated college and discovered I like 0.5mm pens so I decided to try the Extra Fine Point Pilot FriXion Erasable Gel Pens. In my pen test, I used 3 different paper: Index Cards, 5Star College Rule Paper, and Kokuyo/Campus Smooth Paper (from Japan) I learned that they write as smoothly as I remembered in High School, but the colors can be a bit difficult to see (except for the black and teal). These pens are also very comfortable to hold while writing as well. When highlighting, these pens did a 10/10. There was no smear after writing and after highlighting. However, I learned that they were not really erasable no matter how much pressure I used. Depending on the type of paper and how much pressure you put, it could easily rip the paper. The other downside with these pens is that once you try to erase something, you are no longer able to write in the same area. This honestly feels like it defeats the purpose of being erasable. Smoothness 9/10 Ink Quality 8/10 Comfort 10/10 Eraseablitly 2/10

Perfect for Ghosts
These are terrible. The ink does not flow out of them at all. It also feels like you are scratching your nails on a chalkboard when you try to write with them.

Third time is not a charm
This was my 3rd attempt to purchase as the last two times the shopper couldn’t find in store. I finally got them today and am disappointed. The extra fine colors are fairly faint and they don’t write smoothly. I love the Frixon pens but these are not my faves.

Nice quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They write very nicely the only thing I am not a fan of is how they click from the side instead of the top. But they definitely make it feel like you are writing with a high quality pen.

Doesn't look or feel nice
It says gel ink but it doesn't look or feel like gel ink. It doesn't leave a very visible mark and the point is so sharp it scratches the paper.

You can erase the ink
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great appearance it’s very nice pen, very chic if you’re on your UNY days you would love it! The ink level it’s very good the idea of you can easily erase the ink like that it’s a pencil it’s a pro idea so I totally love it, the grip it’s very nice nothing sturdy. I think the ergonomics of versatility amazing build, who creates this pen it’s a genius.

I like them for my Hobonichi. Not wet, and don’t bleed through the pages. Not sure if I’d use them as a daily driver otherwise.

The Pilot FriXion Waai collection is known for its
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this specific collection. While the technical performance of the pens is great, the visual results on the page are a bit disappointing for standard tasks. Flawless Erasability: True to the FriXion name, the ink erases with incredible ease. It leaves no residue or paper tears, making it perfect for those who frequently need to make quick corrections or "do-overs" in their notes. (Refer to picture to view how they erase). Silky Smooth Writing: These pens roll very smoothly across the paper. There’s no dragging or scratching, which makes the actual writing process feel premium and comfortable. The "Invisible" Ink Problem: The biggest drawback is the ink saturation. The assortment of colors is almost too light for practical use. While the "aesthetic" shades are pretty, they are very difficult to see on standard paper, making them unsuitable for work, school, or any document you need to read back quickly. If you are looking for high-contrast, bold colors for everyday writing, these might not be for you. However, they are a solid choice for very light journaling or subtle decorative accents.

Great fine print pen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time ever using a pen that you can erase with the rubber piece on the end. The package came in several different colors as well. Has a rubber grip on the end so your fingers can grip it easier when writing. The clip on the pen that secured it to notepads or even your pocket is what you push to extract the end to write or store it. Highly recommend this new improved pen.
