Futon Sofa With Arms - Room Essentials™

This is the worst piece of crap I have ever spent my money on. Its cheaply made and is the most uncomfortable thing to sit and lay on. Now I have to try to sell it so I can make back some of my money. I have no use for it. I can't believe target made such a piece of crap and is selling it for as much as they are. It's awful. Definitely wont be buying things from this store anymore.

I bought this couch in November because I needed something quick for our new apartment. It was easy enough to put together, but there were red flags from the start, like how the cover of the access panel for the pieces (smartly hidden in the underside of the sofa for packaging) obstructed where I was meant to screw in connection pieces. It is not comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, and the cushions are raised in the middle, so when you lay down You feel leaks and valleys. The right arm piece broke within the first month, leaving it precarious to lean on or use. Today, it broke straight in half when someone sat down, rendering it completely useless.

Moved into an apt with very small/narrow doorways so was struggling to find a couch that would fit. This fit easily and set up was easy, but definitely poor quality. Hasn’t been worn in yet but cushions are super high in center and if you lay down while it’s a couch feels like you’ll roll right off. Arm rests are not comfy. Was using the vacuum near this and must’ve gotten the couch as there’s now 2 rips in it. Have only had for 3 days. Obviously it’s cheap but can definitely find something of better quality for similar price.

After reading other reviews I was scared to purchase this futon. However, I had just moved into a new apartment and could not find anything comparable for a decent price. I decided to still give it a chance and I am glad that I did. The futon is not extremely comfortable but it is comfortable enough to sit on all day. I have also been sleeping on the futon while waiting on my bed and have had no issues with that either. I can see how the Futon may not hold up the best over time because some parts do seem cheap, but you get what you pay for and as long as you don't have kids or are not rough with it you should be fine. Some reviews mentioned the arm rests being flimsy... They must've done a bad job screwing them in because after making sure all the screws were tightened down, I have no issues with them moving at all. I actually lean against them with my full body weight and they support me. If you are looking for a futon for a small apartment or a bedroom and are on a budget, this is the one for you. Easy assembly in less than 30 minutes and can find at local Target location.

We have this in our son's nursery and it has been great! Slept on it many nights and always had a good nights sleep. Super easy to assemble and the versatility has been great. The arms are a tiny bit wobbly since they only attach at the base, but shouldn't be an issue as long as you're not consistently putting your whole body weight on them.

Bottom line... it looks nice and it was fairly easy to put together, but it seriously feels like I’m sitting on cardboard with VERY light padding and fabric. But hey, that’s my opinion

Bought this for $150 at a sale, totally not worth it for that much also! It sank in within 3 months and hurts to sit on it for more than an hour.

This is the worst futon ever. I had it for my first semester of college and was basically the only one who sat on it. I sat on one side and could feel the frame through the cushion. When I had someone over they sat on the other side and the frame snapped. The frame is also a few thin pieces of wood glued together and is not sturdy at all. I am definitely returning this. Don't waste your money! It will break!
