A: Hi! Thanks so much for reaching out to us about this! Hmm...so bear in mind that handlebar height on stunt scooters should be landing around belt level. This provides optimum maneuverability for stunt riding. A lot of people are surprised about that after they order a scooter and see that the handlebars are lower than they expected. The X-3 would be fine for a beginning rider who is thinking they want to get into the sport, but if your 13 year old is already 5'8" we would probably recommend an upgrade into our Z Series which is going to offer more stability, strength and quality. Again, starting with the X-3 would work just fine, but as your 13 year old grows, the Z Series would be a better starting point. Our tallest scooter is the Z350 Boxed, but you would be fine with the Z250 or Z250SE to start out. Again, bear in mind that the handlebar height will be lower due to the sport of stunt riding. More casual scooters, like our CityGlide C200, offer a comfort ride and higher handlebars just so you can know the difference. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you! You know, our X-3 is an awesome scooter and trick scooters are typically made with lower bars to allow for maximum stability and maneuverability when performing stunts...You are wonderfully tall and might need taller bars and with that bit of info, we would recommend our Z350 Boxed. It is our top of the line, but might be worth it if you are wanting a more comfortable ride. It has our tallest bars. Handlebars ideally should be sitting around belt level for ideal performance. A: Hi Jenny! The measurement from the deck to the handlebars is 29.7". We recommend that the handlebars be at the "belt level" for best rider experience. When I first bought this scooter at first it was doing very good and very smooth but after a few days it started not being as smooth as it was and i would use this scooter to go to school so i was a little worried and did not think much of it but in December 26 this scooter front wheel broke and i searched for ways to fix it but nothing was helping and now i don't have a scooter to go to school I hope target can send me a replacment.
