I used to do yoga once upon a time in college and was looking to start up again just to have some physical activity in my schedule. I initially bought this mat because I liked the designs on both sides and wanted something with more cushion than some of the thinner mats since I wasn't sure how well my joints would tolerate having to hold my weight in different poses. The mat is both very comfortable and very helpful in keeping myself centered using the sun and moon pattern so I don't wind up all the way to the front or back of the mat when shifting poses. I did have some trouble with the grip of the mat not being quite as good as expected, as my hands started to slide once I worked up a bit of a sweat, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world. All in all very happy with my purchase.

I liked the Teal Mandala design and the option for reversing it to the overall swirly design on the other side. However I found the texture dry and less grippy than the mat I eventually selected, the Bronze Medallion.

I love this yoga mat. I enjoy that I can flip sides if I get bored with one side. I don’t think it’s slippery at all like other reviews say but I’m not sure if it’s just because I use it barefoot so I have more traction that way. It did have a smell when I got it but I cleaned it and it went away quickly. No more smell! Well this mat does the job for what I need it for.

Looks and feels amazing, good grip I don't sweat much unless I'm in a sauna or cycling so it's perfect for me. It Did have a smell so I laid it out and opened the windows and turned on the fan and left it for a while until the smell was gone....Other than that it's perfect.

This mat is terrible! I didn’t trust the reviews but they were all right! The smell of the plastic is unbearable! The fumes even got in my throat! I am not sure what material this matter is made with but it is awful, do not buy this mat!

This is the most beautiful yoga mat I've ever owned. The two-sided design is absolutely gorgeous! It's hard deciding which side to have up, so I alternate :-). The thickness is noticeably more comfortable and the stickiness is ideal for holding longer poses. I've read other comments about the strong odor, but it's a brand new piece of equipment. It's going to smell. It actually reminds of the new bookbag I would get as a kid just before school. I always loved that smell!

I bought this mat thinking it was non slip but it was quite the opposite

Super cute mat but SO slippery. Could not even hold downward dog in hot yoga was slipping everywhere and had to run out to the car to get my other one. Do not recommend!!!

Been using this for about a month now 3 times a week and it's a life saver for me. I have a tile floor which means lots of bumps which would make yoga super difficult with a thinner mat. This mat has made it possible to do yoga on the tile floor without any issues. Some people have written that this mat had a strange smell to it that they couldn't get rid of. I didn't have the experience when it came the mat smelled rather nice, like incense, which I don't mind at all. So I'm not sure if that was a old review but this mat doesn't have an unpleasant smell to it at all. The design is quite beautiful and the color combination makes me smile. For what it's worth I would highly recommend this mat for anyone, especially those with challenging floors like mine.

I use the mat when I go to the yoga studio, m it stays in my car wrapped in a carrying strap.

I truly love the design and colors, that's why I opted for it, regardless of some mixed reviews regarding usability. Unfortunately, it is indeed slippery even when simply doing downward dog. I hope it will change after using it for some time and washing it. Smell wasn't too bad, i let it air out for a day before using it. Feels thick enough when doing exercises on the back.

It's a good mat, nothing special about the quality of the foam or thickness. The print on both sides is clear and gorgeous. The negative is I got it and aired it out for 3 days, and I've had it for 4 weeks and it still smells like chemicals.

Really like this mar so far! I wiped it down with a damp cloth on both sides & left it to dry overnight. Next day it was sticky but very soft. I like the 6 mm thickness for extra padding for my knees! Overall super happy with my new mat! I have a very sensitive nose & am not bothered by any residual smell. I put my face down to the mat today (day 5 or so after opening it up) & I could smell something but not bothersome—my nose had to be right on the mat to smell it. I couldn’t detect it even in downward dog.

I really like this mat. It’s colorful and reversible. The 6 mm is just the right thickness for my yoga class. Be sure to wipe the mat with a wet cloth to remove the sticky ness before using.
