It comes with two colors of sand for the base, rocks, flowers, and bugs for small parts play, and tools for scooping and exploring. It’s nice to not have to think about putting all of the components together - it’s already done for you! Wonderful toy for the kind of sensory play that helps stimulate cognitive development. And it's fun to do on rainy and/or cold days when being outside is not possible. Very cute. Perfect to travel for change it up on vacation or great outdoor playtime.

The sand is soft and easy to play with , the rocks are small but perfect size for the garden. The flowers are made of foam so they fall over when you place them in the sand. Overall my toddler loved every detail of the garden. She played for 2 hours this morning

She helped me set it up and then played with it until lunch time and then after lunch she played with it for another couple hours. It really held her attention. I love this screen free activity. She loves planting the seeds and making the flowers grow. She uses the flower pot to make sand castles for the critters. The sand is soft and easy to mold. This is an excellent activity for young children. My 9 year old even had fun playing with it. This is also a good activity for strengthening fine motor skills. Kids are able to use their imaginations and have lots of fun with this. We will have to get more of these sensory boxes!!

Even with the sand it’s easy to contain in the bin and throw everything back in for easy storage. It helps kids get curious and play and identify the little creatures. It made them more interested in the actual outside garden which is a plus!

The small pebble rocks help create a barrier between the 2 colors. The foam flowers and plastic bugs create fun scenes with many creative possibilities. The container keeps the sand from getting messy and keeps all the pieces together.

She loves playing outside in her sandbox but this sensory bin is perfect for a rainy day when its to chilly to go out. It has sand, rocks, foam flowers and pots to pretend you’re planting flowers. This held my toddlers attention for over an hour. There is a lid too so you can put the stuff back in the bin and save it for another day.

It comes with plenty of little things to use while playing. Rocks, bugs, tongs, flowers, "seeds", a little pot, shovel and 2 different colors of sand. The sand itself wasn't as soft as we were hoping for. It took a little bit of working with it to get it to be "playable." I would recommend this as an outdoor toy as the sand will find a way to escape the box. Trying to keep the two different colors of sand separated is a bit of a challenge as well. The kids spent a good bit of time playing with it though and seemed to enjoy it. We like the idea of being able to add more "extras" to create different scenarios and ways to play.

The sand got mixed together fairly quickly. I knocked off a star because it's impossible to keep the sand in the box. I have pretty careful kids but the sad ended up everywhere. I would definitely say and outdoor toy.
