Great meal replacement with a good amount of protein and a decent taste, especially when combined with any kind of milk (dairy, almond, soy, etc). Makes a great fast breakfast when mixed with some blueberries and bananas also.
I was honestly shocked that I actually liked this. I have never been good about choking down stuff like protein or meal replacement shakes. I initially did not love the smell, and I was dreading drinking it. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste, it reminds me of vanilla cake batter. I just mixed it with unsweetened/unflavored almond milk. It was a little on the gritty side, but I forgot my blender bottle and shook it in a regular bottle. I'm not going to say this is my favorite beverage/meal ever, but for what it is I'm impressed
It’s incredibly Good! I’m taking this meal replacement shake every morning and it was a very good decision. My nutritionist recommended a few brands and I have no regrets with this one! I’m a mom with 2 kids. My mornings are always very busy and this shake is doing the job to cover my 1st meal in the morning...What I really like is the fact that there are plenty of options to make this shake. It’s tasty, convenient and easy to blend. Glad that I founded it at Target.
I haven't come across vegan proteins that taste as good as the milk-based products and this one isn't much better but if you're looking for a vegan substitute this gets the job done. I mix frozen fruit with organic frozen bananas as my go-to base in almond or cashew milk in a blender which helps tremendously with taste but I'm not picky and can take it with just the almond or cashew milk if I'm in a rush. This is also one of the only vegan substitutes I could find that doesn't include sugar alcohols which many people cannot tolerate even though they're supposed to be safe, some of our stomachs will say otherwise. Other protein products from this same company do contain sugar alcohols along with another form of sugar which is a bit odd so make sure you read the labels on each one. When I use to use regular protein I noticed they worked better for workouts but all in all after trying a few different vegan protein powders, this is the only one I have purchased multiple times and will continue to do so until I find a better option.
