I work as a linesman and my Galaxy finally went out. Debated a bit choose this watch for the rugged features and glass. Also do alot of hiking and workouts and so far seems great no scratches yet and more precise on hikes. Even workouts I just hit strength button and don't add exercises just workout, crazy thing it knows when I hit chest or back or arms not sure how but love it

The watch delivered everything that was advertised. I use primarily for hiking/mountaineering, orienteering, and as a safety tool to help get me to or out of a backcountry location. I only had a couple of problems. When I added a second hike custom activity, I wanted only three screens associated with that activity, but sometimes others would randomly appear as well, forcing me to scroll through unwanted screens when my purpose was to create a more limited option set. Sometimes data screens I created were not updating while others were... seemed glitchy. Secondly, the small screen on my midsize version was a strain on my eyes. It was for this reason that I ended up returning it. I think the 7x would be better, but I'm afraid it will be too large for my skinny wrists, and I can't find one to try on in the northern half of Kansas City. Garmin, if you can do something about this, let me know.

I’ve had this since January ‘23. Was real happy with it until I decided it would be great to download “Garmin Connect” for my MacBook Air and download my Fenix info onto my computer. Now my Fenix isn’t tracking the info that it was before. It’s not tracking sleep info, training readiness or daily intensity mins. I’ve removed the app from my computer and reset the Fenix to factory settings. I’ve tried to edit my day but nothing seems to get me the info that I was able to get before. So not so happy with it now.

I never thought I’d spend this much on a watch but after getting tired of switching back and forth between the 735xt and Venu I wanted something that could truly do it all and this is it. The data is fun to research and track. There are so many features I will never need but I love it. Plus only having to charge weekly (and could probably go much longer) is a huge bonus. Let’s also not forget about absolutely beautiful it is.

I upgraded from my old Fenix 5 to this watch and it was worth it! The solar charging is awesome. The everyday functionality is fantastic. I really enjoy the body battery feedback. I just love this watch. It’s lighter than my old 5 and the display is bigger!

I’ve had my 7 for a month now and today will be the first time it’s seen the charger. I’m still learning so much of what it is capable of. It I love the bio metrics and cannot wait to test the hiking and altimeter.

Still getting used to it all. I used to have the vivoactive 3. It was an awesome watch; this is definitely an upgrade! So many more features and excercises. Battery life is excellent…especially with the solar charging ability. Definitely recommend. But definitely still figuring it out.

I had a Garmin Vivo 4, for 1 1/2 years. I mainly used it for Mountain Biking and also Kayaking. It survived quite well but this time around I decided to upgrade to something even better and I chose the Garmin Fenix 7 solar sapphire. So far I’m very pleased with the watch and all the features. It’s a pricey smart watch, I bought mine on sale. I was looking for a new watch that can withstand all the outdoor activities that I enjoy doing. I do like the free watch face options. The battery life is superb.

I switched from an Apple Watch Series 6 (44mm) w/ GPS to the garmin almost a month ago now. I was extremely hesitant about this because i loved how seamless Apple Watch worked with my IPhone. However the Garmin makes up in any way that it lacks in terms of battery life, features, and overall compatibility. I’ve been more active since this purchase and haven’t felt healthier in a long time

I upgraded from a Garmin Approach S60, which I had mainly for golf, and I'm so happy I did! The fenix 7 is truly amazing in all that it packs into a watch. I find the health tracking features are accurate, the battery life more than enough, the sapphire glass nearly indestructible, and the solar charging an added bonus that makes this watch nearly perfect.

Good looking watch with grate battery life. Only thing I don’t like so far you can’t disable app notifications one app at time have to disable all in one I would like to see some app notification come to my watch but not all of them I’m new to Garmin maybe just don’t know how to make my selection. I like workout selection and all health sensors seams working grate. So far I getting two weeks out of one change and I love this the most

After only two weeks of use the watch has already began losing the blue color around the watch face- with zero drops. For a watch designed for activity I am highly disappointed. I am the product tester for a large running group here in San Antonio and will not be recommending this watch.

I bought this a month ago and have been very pleased with it so far. The only thing that I do not like about it is the fact that it DOES NOT hold a battery charge like my Forerunner 935 did. That being said though, it seems to be more accurate with its assessments. Example: HR is now captured in the water as opposed to the 935 you had to wear a HR Monitor which was a complete pain in the neck! More things that it tracks- not sure the solar part really is worth while because I do spend quite a bit of time outside and it still doesn’t seem like it is helping charge it at all even though it’s not covered by a sleeve. I would give it a 4.6 of 5 ranking so far.

I purchased my fenix 7 Sapphire Solar two weeks ago and have fallen in love with this watch. I used to wear two other watches because they each offered something the other didn't. The fenix 7 Sapphire Solar has combined everything I wanted and used into one watch. I am no longer wearing 2 watches to achieve my goals. In the 2 weeks I have been using the fenix 7, I have been impressed with the accuracy and usefulness of the data. I love the touch screen, and found it easy to use. There are still a lot of things to learn for using this watch, but I am enjoying the learning process. The price gave me pause, but so far the watch has exceeded my expectations.

I bought this Fenix 7 to replace my aging Fenix 3HR. With the smaller size and solar I was expecting much long battery life, but it's only lasting at most 2 days more than my Fenix 3HR did. I just got back from an 8 day off grid expedition and it's asking me to recharge already. Very disappointed. I would have thought it would have lasted at least 2 weeks on a charge, but my 3HR lasts this long on a charge without solar. I'm not using any more advanced features than I did with my 3HR so very disappointed. Maybe I need to turn off some of the tracking features that I don't use. I do like the smaller size and the screen is brighter. Not sure I care for the touch screen. It just smudges out in the field. Lot of money for maybe a day or two extra battery life.
