I wanted a Fenix to use outdoors but find myself using it for much more. Workouts, sleep, golf…etc. The wrist strap took some getting used to but it can be swapped out for alternatives. Highly recommend the titanium/sapphire combo, especially for work. Feels indestructible. Like most large watches, it does include a door frame finding feature, however - contrary to the door frame - the Fenix remains unscathed.

Comn from an Apple Ultra, there is big diff. fēnix® 7X Pro – Sapphire Solar Edition 51mm First is the round face, scrolling, and having to use buttons to see your apps and figuring out what does what.real pain The screen isnt what I expected, maps look meh, brightness is to low. Battery life is awesome and the solar. That is a big plus. Medical wise, the sensors work better that apple, and health app that's a plus. Maps is a pain in the .... to use, hard to view, scroll, plot. No txting or voice on this model, kinda sucks. Had I known of the Fenix 8, woulda got it. WIFI is good, meshes easy with Iphone, but not apple music. To be honest, it was the battery life that got me. this watch is built mor for athlete kind of person. If you have apple watch stick with it, if your an athlete or hunter, hiker, runner, gym junky this is for you. This isnt a bad review, just telln how the diff is. Go with the Fenix 8. For apple users that want the same, use the Apple ULTRA, minus batter life.

I’ve been using it for about 2-3 months now and absolutely love it, the main features I use are the flashlight and the training apps. The golf feature paired with the garmin golf app is honestly astounding also from yardages to how many putts you have. I was worried the 51mm screen would be too big but you get used to it fairly quickly especially if you use it for sleep tracking and really only take it off to shower. The battery life with the solar models really is just unbeatable I think I’ve charged jt 3 times since I’ve had jt.

This watch is clunky and not cheap. I love the looks and the long battery life but it is very odd to work comparatively to Apple Watches. I have given it a little time for me to adjust before writing the review and I still feel the same way about it. CLUNKY!

Have been using this for a little under a month. First the battery life is incredible switching from an Apple Watch. Use it primarily for rowing, cycling, and walking- couldn’t be happier. The watch feature is super useful late at night and early mornings. Data points on workouts and sleep is fascinating.

I have been playing with it for a little while, wearing it for a few weeks. Can be a little large for everyday wear at the office. Many features and I have only scratched the surface but I do like it very much.

Was given this is a gift for xmas, to replace Fenix 6. Recently, I was having some shortness of breath, the heart rate monitor, O2 sensor and the abnormal heart rate kept going off, my HR was very high and would not decrease. I went to doctor and shared my symptoms and the results from the watch, which supported a serious medical condition. We discovered I had a life threatening medical condition that had to be taken care of immediately. Thanks to the monitoring sensors of the watch, I am alive to write this review.

Large and comfortable. I love this watch so far and it does everything I could possibly ask it to do. Big step up from my Tactix Bravo I wore for 10 years.

I did allot of research before this purchase. I clearly made to correct decision. 7X Pro is a robust tool that I am still learning. I doubt there will be anything I will need that isn't already part of the fenix menu of features.

I got this for Christmas and was blown away. I have been wearing it consistently to allow for the Garmin platform to build my profile data. I have been more cognizant of the sleep I am getting, the type of sleep I am getting, even how to better pace myself during the day to not burn out and crash before the end of the day. My Step count has increased exponentially. I haven't begun to scratch the surface on the Fenix's capabilities. I will be using this for years to come. I had an apple watch and I loved it, it was a great piece of technology but one day I dropped it, and I didn't have the face protected and the glass cracked. I was going to get it repaired but left it sitting on my dresser for about a week and decided I wanted to break away from the Apple Watch. I have a cell phone; I don't need a cell phone on my wrist. There are countless features that Garmin offers, I don't regret not buying a new apple watch for one second. It is actually nice to have a piece of technology that breaks away from something that is trendy and brings me back to something that has me more focused on just getting it done. I don't feel the need to read news on my watch, message on my watch, or dress my watch up with different accessories. This watch is rugged, heavy, solid, and has a bold face. Great product! Highly recommend!

The heart rate monitor is 20+ beat too high and pulse ox reading is always exactly the same, when it can establish a result, which is rare. As far as a cycling computer I usually leave it at home. Maybe if I can find a watchband that doesn't pinch and sweat as much as OEM I might wear it more often. If it weren't for the garmin store I would still be trying to tell time with the lack of watchface options. If it can't get something as basic as heartrate established then all the other metrics are useless. I have found third party watchfaces that are pretty amazing at utilizing the garmin watch and are very easy to see, but the watch still lives in a sock drawer. I would consider this to be a technological achievement if everything worked as promised.

Battery life has been outstanding, and the features are more than I will ever need. Run and workout tracking is simple, and the watch is sturdy and easy to use. I only had it for a few weeks, but it is precisely what I needed for ultrarunning, triathlons, and daily workouts.

I have had the Fenix 5 pro since 2019. It finally died. I was a bit hesitant to get another Felix with the same charging connector as this is a weak point to these watches. I also had issues with the touch screen on other garmin devices. I love the 7X pro for the large face, the solar charing, the long lasting battery and the very nice touch screen. The sapphire face of my old 5 pro was unscratched after years of hard use, I expect the same from the 7X sapphire. The Blood Ox and ECG sensors are nice to have. The HR sensor is more accurate than the 5 pro as well. Overall very happy with this watch.

Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire – Perfect for Hybrid A

The Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire is an outstanding tool for anyone balancing endurance and strength training. Its durable build, long-lasting battery, and accurate GPS make it perfect for intense training weeks and trail runs. Advanced metrics like heart rate, VO2 max, and recovery advisor help optimize performance, while multi-sport modes seamlessly track both running and lifting. During technical trail race courses, the gps tool has saved my race several times and kept me safe while solo training. I’m a smaller female, so adapting to the larger watch size after upgrading from a vivoactive 4s took some time. I have seen a positive increase in my training outcomes since upgrading. Great tool for hunting and additional outdoor activities! This watch is more than a fitness tracker—it’s a reliable training partner that supports diverse athletic goals. Highly recommend it for hybrid athletes who want top-tier features and durability.
