The cable looks good and has the gold connectors but il say this right now, the other review for this is saying they worked on his blu ray not his dvr id suggest the dvr is the problem. Hdmi cables are all the same you have standard speed and high speed and then companies advertise 4k 3d refresh rat...see moreof the reviewer's review

On my purchase the two HDMI cable's did not function properly. I had them hocked up to my DVR and the other one to my blue-ray player.
