This antenna gives great reception. The picture quality is as good as the HD I used to get through cable. Every once in awhile it loses the signal and needs a slight adjustment, but I think it's totally worth it and it makes not having cable tolerable.

This antenna is great! I bought it for my HD JVC tv and since the tv is already HD I'm glad I didn't need a converter box since we were making the move from cable tv to regular tv. I live in the nw suburbs of chicago and I got over 50 channels with this!!!! 50 DTV channels and 2 air channels. I did not expect this at all for the cost. I finally decided to stop paying that outrageous cable bill and turned off my cable. Brought this antenna for local channels and needless to say how very surprised I was with it. Channels are crystal clear just like having cable. Set it up one time and have not had to move it since then.

We've had an RCA antenna for awhile with a non-swiveling UHF antenna and only one "rabbit ear" left, and it picked up more channels with better reception than this flimsy thing. Sorry, but this rabbit ears didn't work. The few stations it did pick up were blurred by lines and I had to constantly rotate the ears to try for a decent picture.see moreof the reviewer's review
