I had old [pull chain] bedroom fixtures in a few bedrooms. The fixtures were not replaced before the home was put up for sale, so I inherited a few pull chain fixtures with no shades--yuck! When I wanted to replace the shades, and get end caps to fit all of the fixtures, I was unable to find end cap...see moreof the reviewer's review
Dim feature isn't so good

Overall the bulb works good. It's the same size as an ordinary A15. No buzzing or humming. However, when dimming, the low setting is much too bright. This bulb can't give off near as low of light as incandescents.

These bulbs are great. I get low energy usage and color temperature just like incandescent bulbs at the same time! They're compact and have a warm vintage color. They look way better than those ugly swirly cfls. They're supposed to last 13 years (with 3 hours of daily use) but If I only get half tha...see moreof the reviewer's review
