Ghetto Gastro Toaster Pastries Sweet Potato - 7.2oz

These are much better than I expected them to be. I was going for a bit more sweet potato flavor, but everything else was very tasty. The pastry was crispy and flavorful, and the filling wasn't too sweet.

Perfect texture, peak ingredients, unparalleled sweet potato flavor. Truely goated pastry. I'd eat this every day, would my wallet would permit. Really though, it's good! please try it if you like sweet potatoes and pastries!! We need more sweet potato flavors!

First off I was let down when I realized it was only one pastry per pack. When I opened it I was sad because it smelled a lot like coconut. After preparing it, the texture was okay. On the first bite it tastes like coconut and cinnamon, but nothing like sweet potato. I also find it to be way too sweet. I will not be purchasing these again.

For a “gourmet” toaster pastry the only thing gourmet about it is the price. There’s only one singular toaster pastry in each package kind of a rip-off for the price. It doesn’t taste like Sweet Potato at all, however when cooking in the toaster you get all the sweet potato smells. It doesn’t taste bad but it doesn’t taste good either. It similar in taste to the “healthy” protein alternatives to popular snacks that taste slightly off but edible. Another taste comparison, the aftertaste is like when you eat those red, black, or purple, cake frosting that has too much dye to get vibrant colors, yes it has a food coloring dye aftertaste. There’s not enough filling but, the flavor’s are lacking so it’s a blessing (and a curse) that it’s a thin smattering of filling. The “best” thing about this is the crust is a little crunchy, even before toasting. I like that texture better than soft. But still the taste was middling. I wouldn’t but this again, and for me to try the other flavors they’d have to be a dollar or less.

I wanted to like these so much. I love sweet potatoes but these taste awful. They taste very artificial. I do not recommend these. This does not taste like sweet potato. I do not recommend.

I like the taste it isn’t overpowering. Great plant based option. I’m a big fan of their products!!!!

I've never thought about enjoying a sweet potato pastry until I saw this. It's the perfect bite and really tastes like sweet potato. Checked out the ingredients and was suprised to see how they cut out all the garbage without sacrificing the taste. Happy someone thought of this in a ready to go format!

I think it’s not as sweet potatoey but it’s still delicious

I really disliked these. They’re extremely tough and you have to put them in a toaster to heat them. When I did, it started smelling burnt, even though it wasn’t. As I tried to take it out, the top broke off, and I had to fish out the rest from the toaster. I ended up burning my tongue on the thick, gel-like filling. After waiting for it to cool down, it became rock hard. Not a great experience at all. Threw the whole box away, what a waste.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Not worth the price for that pittling amount you get, and also just nasty. Does not taste like sweet potato just some fake flavor taste. Don’t waste your money on this garbage brand, All their products are over expensive and nasty.

Despite being sweet potato flavor, it tastes only like cinnamon sugar. It has no actual sweet potato taste. Overly sweet with just as much sugar as pop tarts. Not worth the price unless you just can't live without poptarts, but also can't eat high fructose corn syrup

I’ve been searching for a toaster pastry that doesn’t have a bunch of artificial junk and these are the best things that I have found recently in a flavor that I would like. The sweet potato flavor has hints of cinnamon and the texture is divine. Yes, they have 11 g of added sugar Per toaster pastry, but if you are looking for a treat, these are definitely worth trying.
