About this item
In this multi-volume encyclopedic work, prestigious Paduan scholar of logic and scientific methodology Zabarella (1533-89) sought to collect all the issues that came under the heading of natural philosophy that had been taking shape from antiquity to his own time within the vast and multifarious field of Aristotelianism. It was first published in 1590 in both Venice and Cologne. Valverde presents a highly annotated edition of the Latin text, particularly noting references to Aristotle and Averroes.
