These fit really well and I like tyhat the waist is adjiustable. They are not too short which is also a plus. The black is a dark black so they don't look faded and can be dressed up or down (paired with a tee and sneakers, as well as a button down and flats - both worked great!)! As always the price is reasonable. Got them in white too!

These girls’ jean shorts from Target are such a great value! They look cute, feel comfortable, and have held up really well through lots of wear. The denim is soft but sturdy, and the fit is relaxed without being too baggy or too tight. They’re easy to mix and match with different tops, and the length is just right—not too short, not too long. For the price, you really can’t beat the quality. A great everyday option for summer—definitely worth picking up!

Perfect fit for my tall, slim preteen!

My daughter absolutely loves these shorts! We had a hard time finding ones that have a little stretch in them and are not too long or too short - these ones are perfect! The mid-rise is great too as many other options tend to be high rise or low rise, neither of which she prefers. They also have elastic inside the waist that can be buttoned tighter or looser to adjust as needed (also a great feature that we don't find on many shorts in her size). I do wish they had more colors of this exact style of short, but overall we love them! Great product, Target!!

Nice shorts that literally go with everything. They wash nicely and don’t really roll up at the bottom. A pretty nice material where it’s not too think or stiff but still a nice Jean material.

My daughter is almost 8. But the small 6/7 fits good on her since she’s super thing but a bit tall. It has adjustable straps so that’s a big help to making it fit her waist.
