Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

She loves the Corvette on the front as it is super cool and fashionable. It fits comfortably with just the right amount of room for movement and layering over a T-shirt. The material is soft and cozy. Great for winter months. The Corvette design is Bolden stylish. For size reference my daughter is 5 foot and 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a car lover but the little girl in your life is not, just gift them this sweatshirt and it will instantly make them a Corvette fan. This girls pullover fleece Corvette crewneck sweatshirt has a bit of a retro feel to the design. The crewneck only comes in a cream color, which might be a downfall when dealing with messes and dirt, but the style and comfort make up for it. This is a solid medium weight sweatshirt. The model is 4’6”, 55 lbs and is wearing a size Medium 8, which is her normal size. This sweatshirt runs a bit large, and this size ended up being huge on her, falling well below her bottom. The Corvette design on the white really popped. This is a perfect sweatshirt to wear with a pair of jeans or leggings. The inside of the sweatshirt is extremely soft and comfortable. I wish it came in red or black not white for children. My daughter is obsessed with cars and she absolutely loves it. The fit is like your standard crew neck sweater it’s not very oversized. I usually buy a M. It got a L so that it can be baggy.
