Whether it's just a light shower or a downpour, the Lulani Rain Boots from Cat & Jack™ are perfect for rainy days. Featuring a cute allover printed design, these durable rubber rain boots are comfortable for her to walk in and help to keep her feet clean and dry. Plus, the pull-on back tab allows easy on and off.
Excellent boots this year by Cat & Jack!
Last year's (2018) girls' rain boots were tall in the shaft which kept the puddles out, but was uncomfortable for short-legged kids, as the top edge of the boot cut into the back of their knees when they had their legs bent. Also, last year's boots were very narrow in the toe box, compared to the typical kids' boot. Last year's boots (my kids had unicorn print) are now leaking water without any obviously visible breaks in the rubber.
This year's offering has a lower shaft, wider opening, and wider toe box, more typical of the standard Circo brand kids' rain boots Target used to carry. The size 4 in this year's rain boot roughly corresponds to a women's size 6-6.5, at a better price point than the women's rain boots, if you like any of these cute patterns to choose from. This comparison confirms what other reviewers have said about these boots running large. Size 4 is 24.5 cm or 9.5" from heel to toe, rounding the toe against the tape measure because the toe box has a slight turn-up to it.
My kids' feet are getting close to adult sizes, but as long as they can enjoy the fun kids' styles, they're happy about that. For those adults who run petite, these boots are a worthy consideration (pandas, anyone?). The sole is more substantial than last year's girls' rain boots by Cat & Jack, with a deeper tread. As to durability, I won't know until a year or so from now, and it would be *really great* if Target would allow reviewers to update their previously posted reviews in situations like this.
So cute and well made! My daughter loves them! They do run big though so just FYI. We went ahead and stick with the too big size because of being in a rush and let’s be real, she’s 6 so she’ll grow into them.
