Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

She is on the smaller side at around 75 pounds and I ordered her the size large, which is 10 12. The sweatshirt was definitely a little oversized on her, she said it was comfortable but it wasn’t a heavy sweatshirt. The hood was nice and big and covered her head without falling down. He says it is the most comfortable sweatshirt that he has and he loves to wear it everywhere he goes, inside or outside. I purchased this hoodie/sweatshirt for my granddaughter on a fairly good sale as I always like the quality of Art Class. Just beware that it sheds quite a bit and luckily, I wash everything before she wears it or it would have created a really huge mess. It is very classic, but hopefully the shedding will improve.

I was excited to find a NON-cropped hoodie for my daughters, but when I put these in the washer they left little white fuzzies EVERYWHERE. The fleece lining completely shed and looked like fake snow all over my washer & the hoodies. I ran them thru a second cycle, and it was just as bad. Such a mess. :(
