A: These are somewhat sheer. They are not super sheer like a 20 Denier tight and have some opaqueness to them, but not completely opaque.

My 7 year old normally wears a 10/12 in bottoms (due to height) purchased the tights size 12-14 and they seemed like they were for a toddler. I noticed as soon as i pulled them out of packaging that they did not look true to size. I even wondered if maybe they were switched in store but per the reviews we are not alone.

My daughter is 8 years old and usually wears a size 8 in clothes. I bought a size 12-14, and they are WAY too small. They seem like a toddler size 4! I have never seen such bad sizing!

These tights run small. Feel great just size up. I bought the knit ones in size 7-10 and these nylon ones in 12-14 and the knit 7-10 are true to size. Included picture for reference. Hope it helps.
