I really, really like these canisters. So much so, that I first bought them for our lake cabin and now purchased more for our home (for oatmeal, nuts, popcorn, coffee, and more. They are great. Simple, clean design. Easy to wash. Modern but the dark wood lids give them a slightly traditional vibe too. And I've seen some very similar canisters for about 5x as much money. Thank you Target! Again.
Perfect to organize my pantry staples on open farm house style kitchen shelves. I have had them for a month and stored flour, ghee, popcorn kernels, sugar, coconut oil, snacks, nuts, etc with no problem and all was kept fresh.
I was disappointed in these jars, the online photos don’t show the round indent in the top of the lids, I’m not sure if they’re simple there for design or if they function as a weird handle. Either way, they weren’t my taste upon arrival. The glass also feels quite thin and I’m worried they could crack if bumped into one another. I didn’t open mine up because I knew I would be returning them so I can’t speak on the issue of dysfunctional lids. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.
We purchased this small storage container and a few other sizes. Unfortunately, this one is absolutely terrible. The lid cracked within the first few days of receiving it (a triangular chip), and for the past few months the lid has been incredibly difficult to remove. My wife has chipped a few nails and I just pinched one of my fingers one too many times trying to get into my coffee inside this container, thus firing me up to write this review. Despite the great design, I would absolutely NOT recommend these containers simply because the poor lid design. Avoid yourself the struggle and pain of pinched fingers trying to get to your morning brew.
