Q: Is this mirror able to be used with only the horizontal back strap? I have headrests that are attached to the seat (i.e., they do not go up and down), thus I cannot use mirrors that use straps under the headrest.

DOESN'T WORK! I have a 2023 Honda HRV with fixed headrests in the backseat where I would need to hang this mirror. This mirror is not suitable for seats with fixed headrests. I am very displeased with this mirror because there is no way for me to see my rear-facing baby while I drive. This product needs to state that it will not work on fixed seat headrests because it has been nothing but a waste of money for a useless product.

This mirror does not stay attached to the headrest in my car. Even with all three straps. In an accident, it would definitely become a projectile item. Even when it is attached I cannot see my child from the front seat. It does not work like it should.
