PlayStation 4. Help Kratos and Atreus accomplish their new purpose of surviving
powerful forces that threaten their new lives.
Featuring gods and monsters from the Norse world, this war game deconstructs
the core elements that defined the series-satisfying combat, breathtaking
scale, and a powerful narrative-and fuses them anew. Use the axe as a weapon
and fight the pantheon of Norse creatures.
With immersive graphics and gameplay, explore a realm that's more fantastical
than our own. Released as part as Sony's PlayStation collection, the PS4

The axe cuts deep into the flesh massive giant standing before you. It turns. Like a plane hitting the ground below at full speed, it slams down the long pillar just before you roll out of the way, and with one last mighty blow, you sling your heavy axe slaying the beast. This unique experience can only be discovered in God of War. God of war is an action-adventure video game that puts you into the shoes of a god.
One of the reasons that God of Wars has such amazing looks is its illustration style which, in my mind, perfectly matches the mythical world and will never cease to exceed your expectations. Its mystical and majestic landscape goes perfectly alongside its story. In my opinion, it’s looks surpass high-quality games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Shadow of War, and even Spiderman. You could tell the characters were filled with passion and personality just by looking at them, and the armor and weaponry were like from dreams with their unending powers. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring its artistic world.
God of Wars price stunned me because of its quite cheap for such a high-quality game. I first bought this game as a present for my oldest sibling, and after trying it I couldn’t stop playing it. It was well worth $30 and would have been worth $1,000. With most large games like this being around $60, its price was well below its competitors.
God of War’s challenging puzzles was a good addition and break from the exhilarating combat. The combat is fluid and either makes you feel like well a god or a helpless ant up against quite literally a dragon. Another cool addition to the game was it’s crafting, in which you would gather resources from killed enemies and chest awarded usually after completing hard puzzles. One downside to the combat was that sometimes the boss fights seemed dull due to most of the bosses you fight being almost the exact same. Another addition I would have added to the game was a help system for main story puzzles. Because of the fact that sometimes I would get stuck during the puzzles, and after trying and trying to figure it out would eventually have to search the internet.
All of God of Wars amazing characters helped to create an unpredictable and fantastic story. God of Wars characters didn't just help the story but also created cool aspects to the gameplay. I liked the way that you could decide if you just ignored the story enjoy it. Another thing I liked about God of Wars story is its consistency of being entertaining no matter the time.
So if your searching for a high-quality exiting action adventure game, look no farther, because with God of War you’ll always know what to do during your free time. With God of War’s fantastic graphics, exhilarating combat, challenging puzzles, unpredictable story, and mind-boggling price it lives up to the title of Game of The Year. God of War is by far my favorite game I’ve ever laid my eyes on.
Terrible. Game has 4 levels of difficulty, but even on story level (lowest) the bell rune challenge to unlock chests are near impossible. I dont get it. Why have a story level if it is going to be so frustrating that you can`t enjoy the game. At higher difficulty levels i understand that it should be difficult, but on story mode???? Really?
