Q: Does the door brace need to be bolted, screwed, or nailed into the wall or door frame?

A:Â The GoFit ProGym does not have a brace. The kit includes a door anchor which slides through the hinge side of the door. It is removeable and has no hardware to install. Instructions on how to properly position and utilize the door anchor are included and should be read and utilized as directed. Other instructions can be found on the GoFit website or YouTube channel.

The bands are good quality, the door anchor is basically a fabric ball attached to a strap that you wedge in a door. This does NOT come with a DVD and instead has a QR code that you scan…to then purchase a membership to watch videos, that I assume would’ve been on the DVD that I was supposed to get. Loved the bands but they are poor quality. The clasp and rings have started to rust even though they’ve never been near water and kept in a dry environment. It seems they’ve cheesed out in plating them properly. So discussed.

This is wonderful product to substitute the real gym workout during the pandemic of 2020 and into 2021. There are so many variations of use to simulate the weight machines, beyond the booklet and film that comes with the kit. I don't use the door for support and have clamped the door support strap high around a column in my basement and made another strap attached low with pipe clamps that allow for easier and quicker exchange between the 2 positions. Great workout and thanks for a wonderful product. I just brought another one for my son. Kudos to GoFit

Ankle straps don't go all the way around the ankle, and the velcro wouldn't hold during a serious workout anyway. Door anchors not really usable unless your doorway is in the middle of an empty room. Not sure what I was expecting, but this falls short of being impressive. Will stick to dumbbells.

I don't know why I ever joined a brick and mortar gym when I had the Ultimate Gym. I can do a wide variety of exercises that mimic the exercises I did at the brick and mortar gym. The resistance tubes are very sturdy. (I bought another brand and a tube broke the first time I used it.) GoFit products are competitively priced and worth the money.
