A: We don't add formaldehyde to any of our products. However, some products contain ingredients to help preserve the product and kill bacteria, and some of these ingredients may release a small amount of formaldehyde. The very low levels of formaldehyde released from these ingredients are safe. The following ingredients may contain trace levels of formaldehyde. DMDM Hydantoin Diazolidinyl urea Imidazolidinyl urea Quaternium 15 Sodium magnesium lauryl sulfate There may also be others. However, we would not recommend that individuals who are sensitive use products containing even trace levels of formaldehyde.

I usually don’t leave five star reviews for shampoos but for this it was worth it. It cleansed my hair and scalp well but the lather feels soft and luxurious. My 4b/c hair didn’t feel tangled after rinsing it out and felt softer. The smell is amazing too.

I am a 3c/4a. Hair is worn out by color and flat iron. I normally wear my natural curls in fall/winter to let it breath a lil and I'm now thinking about letting the color grow out. I have tried Shea Moisture, Mielle, & Maine Choice Shampoo and Conditioners. Shampoo is the hardest to find that makes my hair soft and manageable. BUT THIS. My hair was soft, and clean with great lather. The smell was great. The conditioner was great also. I think I've finally found a winner for my hair.

Lathers VERY well. You’ll need two quarter sized amounts (I apply to the front and back of my hair because it’s full) and that’s it. Has a nice scent. I barely lost any hair while washing! Didn’t tangle easy! The conditioner is great too! Not heavy at all. Good size for the cost!

The absolute best hands down. Growing up I would use the Pantene in the brown bottle and as I got old got caught up in the other brands due to “popularity.” I recently dyed my hair back blonde and I normally go to the salon twice a month for it to be done, but in between I try to wash my own hair, but haven’t found that right product. I’ve always wanted to try the gold series line of Pantene so today was that day. Just as it says will happen it INSTANTLY SOFTENS your hair it did exactly that as soon as I applied the product. I am so in love with this the shampoo and conditioner I can’t wait to flat iron my hair to use the instant nourishing spray. I was hesitant to get the thermal heat protector, but I will definitely be going to buy it tomorrow.

Does the job very well and cleaning and moisturizing my 4C hair. I was surprised and it helped bring back my natural hair color that had become quite dull. Left scalp and hair strands moist, clean and soft. Followed up with Conditioner. Purchased Bottles for my mom too. Love it’s minority owned which was a big reason I purchased.

In my opinion, Pantene has been a horrible excuse for an industry-standard brand. Their basic old-school formulas leave film on your hair and simply don't work. However, the Pantene Gold Series, sulfate free, is quite possibly the best line of products on the market for hydration, shine, and restoration of hair. The detangling milk is the best anti-frizz detangler shine-inducing product on the market. I am so impressed with Pantene Gold Series that I will clear any store out of the kits and give them as gifts. I am often met with women and men who have had the same amazing results. Use any one of the Pantene Gold Series Products and in some way, you will have restored your hair.

Stopped using Pantene years ago because their formula changed and I stopped relaxing my hair. Decided to give this a try, I have a really dry scalp and almost any shampoo I try to use feels so stripping and usually cost me a bottle every 2 washes (I go through a bottle a month). This shampoo however is not stripping and you literally can use a dime size amount and it lathers well although it’s a creamy texture. I have type 4 hair and I’m fully natural, doesn’t strip my curls&coils and I’m happy for that. Wish it came in a bigger bottle but it’s my go to now!!!

OMG I LOVE IT!!!! I’ve been trying to find a hair care line for years!!!! Between my daughter and i our hair can be pretty dry usually have to use a lot of conditioner but i used the moisture boost line on my daughter and she didn’t say ouch not one time it was combing straight through without having to use a lot of product!!!! Like using a knife to cut butter seemless no comb getting stuck!!!! I am a fam for life!!!!! Sorry shea moisture not sorry

I love your products but the last shampoo and conditioner I got had a different smell and I'm not able to continue using them from sensitivity to the smell. Did all of them change formula?
