These work great for my daughters hair. She does not have thick hair and I use them for partial pony tales like pig tails or half pony tails. I can see how kids with thicker hair, these wouldn't work for a full pony tale. I use the normal "adult" size pony tails when putting all her hair up. see moreof Tonya's review

I bought these hair ties last week and they broke on me immediately. I am really mad that I wasted my money on hair ties that I have to put three on my wrist because they keep braking.
