I’ve been buying these elastic hair ties for years, but lately the quality just isn’t the same. They used to last a long time, but now most of them thin out quickly (like in my photo) and eventually snap. It’s disappointing, especially since I used to rely on them. Still on the hunt for hair ties that can actually keep up!

Hit or miss
These are seriously so hit or miss. I can grab a pack one time and they literally break after a few times of using them. Then 4 months down the line I buy a new pack, and they are the longest lasting hair ties I’ve ever had. I always buy small packs because I don’t know if they will hold. My hair is thin, but long, so there is a decent amount of hair to put up, but it’s not heavy hair.

Terrible. Not strong enough to hold hair. My hair is think but have never had a problem with any other hair elastic this size. I wrap it around twice and it is usually good but with this one, it’s way too loose and three times wrapped around would break it be too tight. I have used this brand for as long as I can remember and never had a much of problem but these ones, I guess the ‘ouchless ones’ are awful

Pulls apart and they are one time use only
Breaks the first time you use them. Gently putting these in my hair, every single one of them pulls apart when it gets pulled taught. I used to love Goody products and thought it was just a bad batch. MULTIPLE purchases have been the same. The quality is horrible so you have to keep replacing them every time you use a hair tie. They are supposed to be reusable, but you have to go super slow and careful to get one use out of them. Also, I only use these on half of my hair on the ends because they could never hold my full head of hair in one.
