[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our new Fitbit ace. I love the fact that I can track my 8 year old wherever she may be. Communicating with her is super easy. She loves to send me fun messages with emojis. It’s super safe, secure, and easy to use. The fitness games are a great way to keep her moving. We are having lots of fun with this Fitbit.
It’s good if you have the app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very durable and comfortable to wear but it will not work unless you pay for the app which is. Or something I am willing to do at this time. It’s really too bad because I was looking forward to using this for my child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome product to get before taking the big step of purchasing a phone for your child!!! we love communicating back-and-forth. He loves the features like meeting the daily goals, and playing games. he’s able to wear it during his activities without it getting in the way. As a parent, I love being able to see his location when he’s not with me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really liked the Google Fitbit Ace LTE. He’s 13 and homeschooled, so we haven’t yet got him a cell phone of his own. he is reaching the point now, though, where he is getting more active with scouting activities and visiting friends, and it’s nice to have a way to connect with him through text, without the worries that come along with a traditional cell phone. My son also loves being able to play the games and track his steps while having a functional watch as well. we have found the product to be durable and has not been impacted by sweat and summer swimming. We just wish that the battery life was longer in the monthly fee was cheaper, as I can add my son to my personal cell phone plan for only a little bit more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is ok. Battery life was not so great. Battery died pretty quick. To be able to use this product you have to have either have a monthly or yearly plan. The thing that I didn't really like is that for you to be able to communicate with someone they have to have a Gmail account. Overall it's ok for kids that are to small to have a phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, my son turned 11, and we weren't sure about getting him a phone. He can use this watch as a phone, but with control, we keep on who he talks to. He loves this watch and so do we!!! Thank u for this free product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connectivity is alright, where I had to reset it to disconnect and then reconnect. The battery life is good, especially if your child will be wearing it as well as if you want to wear it. The watch is made for children, but you can use it as well. Just know the wrist start is small, and I have a small wrist. Be aware that in order to use this, you have to pay for a subscription, which is one for he things I don't like that you are required to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let my seven year old wear this device which she thought was the coolest thing. It functions enough like an adult watch/activity tracker that she really liked it. It seems to have a pretty good battery life and is durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old boy loves this Fitbit, he sees I have a smart watch and always wanted one of his own and now he is excited to have this. He says it’s better than mine. He plays sports and works out with the family so this is much needed and we can also stay track of him too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I kinda want one! Gamifying movement? It's a giga pet but for fitness! I like that it can be used to text or call a select group of people. I like that I can control the use times so that it doesn't become addictive. Long lasting battery and solid design over all. We charged daily but could go longer. Location function seems to work well and track appropriately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The band is durable and she loves it! Sizing is not an issue with velcro strap. Screen is large and easy to navigate. The subscription was half off and came with an extra band that unlocks more games. My 12 year old loves this item and is excited about getting moving! The charging is fast but doesn't last past 1 day it seems. I already use the family parental controls and it added the fitbit to that control panel effortlessly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are trying to hold out on getting our daughter’s cell phones as long as possible. This Google Fitbit Ace LTE give us an alternative to still be in contact with them until we go the phone route. Pros: I can track location and it even tells me if the watch is being worn or not. This is super helpful so I know she didn’t just take it off and leave it somewhere. She can call or text up to 20 contacts that I approve. For now we are just limiting to mom and dad. Great peace of mind that I can stay in contact, see location, and know she isn’t being prey on the internet. Cons: a subscription is required to use the device. I know this is stated in description but sometimes you can still use a device without buying the subscription and just don’t get certain features. This device cannot be used at all without the subscription. Not even as a watch/step counter. You have to have a gmail to be a contact. Annoying that a contact can’t be setup with just a phone number or another email. Two watches can’t contact each other. So my two daughters can’t both have these and contact each other when they’re meeting after school on the bus. Setup was a challenge and I ended up getting two subscriptions bc it wouldn’t recognize the 1st when I needed to start over. I tried to setup to wear myself and get phone notifications like a regular Fitbit but that isn’t an option. Overall this could be a good fit if you’re aware of the limitations but there are also improvements to be made. For the price, I’m not sure this would be my first choice as there are a lot of smart watch options out there for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch does so much more than I expected it to. I got this for my son so I could call or text him anytime and also to be able to see where he’s at in case if an emergency. The cellular plan for the watch is very cheap. I haven’t had any issues with call or text him. The only downside is you have to download FitBit Ace app to be able to talk to him but it’s works great. The watch motivates him to keep moving. The more steps he makes, the more he unlocks items in his watch for his character. He is working on getting enough steps to get a new cat hat for his character. I like that I can control who he calls and texts. I can see exactly where he is and how much he has been active during the day. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to keep in contact with their children but are not comfortable enough with them having a phone yet.
Great asset to keeping my 5yr old safe and working towards a tiny fitness goal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used these on my youngest at Disney and it worked great. I was a little concerned about giving a 5 yr old a connected watch but the wrist strap was Velcro which made it easier to avoid falling off. You pay for the service through Google so I opted for a full year at half off to try it out. You have to download an app for her to call me but it was very easy to setup and I was glad she didn’t have a phone number that I had to give out. I also really liked that it was able to use Google maps for locating her. It has games on it but you don’t have access to them till you reach certain step goals which was neat. She has already figured out how to navigate the watch and one time when she thought she lost me in the park she called me very quickly and it worked great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old daughter loves this. The band is a cute lilac and green color that is perfect for a kid her age. The screen is big enough and easy to use with not much experience needed. I love the fact that the tracking system is pretty accurate so I can track her wherever she goes. Also, the battery life is durable. Overall, this is a great watch for a child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is going into middle school and we wanted something to call him on that wasn’t a phone. He almost bought himself a Fitbit for Xmas and so this model seemed a good fit for our needs. We purchased the warranty since he plays a lot of sports. One thing we noticed is he lost the bumper the first day wearing it, that was disappointing. When he plays basketball, the watch tends to get hit and the band separates from the device and falls off. It’s happened twice in the 2 weeks we’ve had it, otherwise it’s been durable considering it’s fallen and hasn’t broke. Battery seems good, better than my watch from another well known company. It’s easy for him to use, we love the texting feature, calls are easy too. I don’t like the Velcro band style as it seems like it may wear down with time but is doing the job as of now. I will look to getting a different band and a new bumper as accessories become available. Overall, it suits our needs and preferences for our child. It has games that our son likes but also comes with ‘school mode’ for less distractions. When at school, it can be scheduled based on your preferences in the app on your phone. I do wish it didn’t require downloading the app in order to make calls/texts. If there is one thing that they could do differently, it’d be that. Most of his friends won’t download an app just so they can talk so the social component is pretty limited. We are happy with it though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This google Fitbit watch came in an all cardboard box which I loved. It charges very easy and the band and watch seem durable. I was not aware I needed a contract/ monthly charge in order to use it at all. You can not just use it to track steps or games without this. Although it is relatively cheap my oldest daughter 12 said she doesn’t like the look of the watch on. At the moment a cell phone with basic call/text is around the same price so she would rather that. My 9 yr old daughter would like it but she is not out of the house enough for me to justify the cost. The idea is great to track and simply text and call.
