Decent basic fitness tracker
It doesn’t live up to all the hype it’s getting. It’s good at tracking basic fitness, like walking, running and biking, but it kinda fails at other fitness routines. Its auto detect feature works pretty well unless your phone is out of range or not with you. I’m not sure if the sleep tracker works all that well. It gives me pretty much the same rating no matter what kind of sleep I actually have or not. I occasionally wake up at 3 am and don’t fall back asleep for quite some time but I’m still getting a “good” sleep rating. I guess it’s feather weight and being screenless makes it appealing to some, but it’s really a paltry substitute for the Apple Watch, but what do you expect for $100. It’s built well and the battery lasts a long time so if you’re looking for a decent basic fitness tracker this isn’t a bad choice.

AWESOME
Amazing tracker, awesome and easy to use app, lightweight and comfortable. Everything you need on a screen less tracker. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, like the previous person mentioned these are BOOMERS commenting because they do not know how to use technology and are salty about it!!!

Whoop > Fitbit Air
Just like what everyone says, the app is horrible. Too much going on but at the same time, the data isn’t enough. It only gives you heart rate and sleep data barely gives you anything. The app is just a glorified Apple Health app. It’s good as a starter when it comes to screenless wearables. But once you’ve tried Whoop or even an Oura ring, the Fitbit Air is just straight trash.

Ouch
Have to return it because the sensors are hurting my wrist. It’s not the band or nickel allergy.

Target reviewers are weird
Better than Whoop or Helio for sure. These negative comments here are so wack, people complaining about the app and too much info- these are just boomers who "don't like change". The metrics are legit, I think the app is fine and easy to understand. Look at any set of reviews outside of Target and you'll see how well it's rated. Target reviewers are just a weird, cynical bunch typically.

Great for my needs. UI needs a makeover.
I really enjoy my Fitbit. I saw the opportunity to buy one after contemplating between the Fitbit and Helio strap. Originally owned a Whoop band. Currently own a Pixel. I work night-shift and have found the sleep tracking to work phenomenally (or at least, good enough for me). As someone that has a dysregular sleep schedule, I appreciate that tracking isn't all over the place as it was with the whoop band. It also has been able to more accurately measure when I wake up and fall asleep. Outside of that, it does what your standard health tracker does. If you're really interested on metrics, watch a video from The Quantified Scientist on it. The UI for the app is lacking. Data is kind of frustrating to get to but not unbearable. My biggest complaint though is trying to hone on specific values on the graphs. I'm looking forward to more updates and how they move forward with this!

Not worth it.
Did not work for even a whole day. Tried to call Google support after trouble shooting but none of that worked either. The problem had to be bubbled up. I did not feel like waiting so I returned instead. Should have listened to the mixed reviews! I was super hopeful for this to work.

Hey there, Ariel. Sorry to see your experience with the Fitbit Air and our support team wasn't the best — we totally get how frustrating that can be. Even though you returned it, we'd like to get more insight and learn more. When you find the time, here's our survey: https://google.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2aStd8wsbcLGvwG

Awful App
I really wanted to love this. The deisgn is great, lightweight you forget you have it on, but the app is an absolute chaotic nightmare. Goodle please listen to your customers and clean up that Dashboard and simplify it. There is just too much chaos going on. The old fitbit app was so much easier to interpret. Don't bother getting this believe the reviews. Wait until they push out a few gens of this and hopefully chage their god awful app.

Great help to keep me from getting distracted!
I'm familiar with Fitbit watches, and will have to say that this one is a new favorite. What I enjoy the most, is that it's a screenless tracker, and its been helpful keeping me from getting distracted to notifications or alerts informing me that I've reach a goal/ milestone. For me, overall a great purchase!

Dont bother
If you’re looking for a screen less tracker with an app where you can track your activity easily, keep looking. Low price tag is just another opportunity for Google to hock their ai slop at you. Even when turning off the ai coach, the app has a little ai ask coach chat bubble that stays on every screen PERMANENTLY. No screen means you need a good app— and Google health is horrible.

New to Fitbit
I've had no issues at all with mine. I love it for tracking my workouts, sleep, and food. Health premium is helpful and easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Great till its not
The build quality for this tracker is amazing. Google knocked it out of the park. Super comfortable and a great way to track stuff without the distractions of a watch. However, only a day and a half in, it no longer syncs. I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps and nothing. Band is on but won’t connect to any phone or anything. A shame because I really liked. Hopefully when I exchange it for another one this problem will be fixed. We’ll see tho.
