I had high hopes for this device. I see only two other reviews so far. Unlike the other two reviewers I actually put the Voice Kit together and tried to follow Google's instructions. The Voice Kit setup Website instructions do not match what was shipped on the Raspberry Pi Zero W SD card. After ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Bought the original last year, loved it! Good build quality. Like the new smaller version with Pi Zero.

Between this and the AIY Vision Kit, I recommend this one more for first-time computer tinkerers. But know that for many people, additional cables and adapters are needed to take it beyond assembly, in addition to an HDMI screen, mouse, and keyboard. Yes, you can connect it to an Android phone for t...see moreof the reviewer's review

A 2mm flat head screwdriver (the same size used to repair most eyeglasses) is mandatory to assemble th...see moreof the reviewer's review

Item as described and fast shipping from Target. Relatively simple and straight forward build. Instruction for assembly and demos from Google were clear, just follow closely. A 5v, 2.1A is required though. Some knowledge on Raspberry Pi is definitely advisable. Building upon the demo codes to extend...see moreof the reviewer's review

My Voice kit experience was much better that the AIY Vision kit that has kernel crashes at full speed. The assembly was pretty easy, and everything pretty much works out of the box once built. It does take a little fussing to set up your Google Cloud account. Note that you get a $300 initial cred...see moreof the reviewer's review

Google's fault

Raspberry Pi zero MH what is included this 'V2' package doesn't support the Google Assistant Library. It only works with gRPC or Cloud Speech API. Also gRPC doesn't support even Google Music. That means you cannot use or develop this like Google Home. It's a trash. Previous version was better.
