GoTrax G Max Ultra Commuting Electric Scooter - Black

This scooter is so worth the price. I am in love! It’s a quality scooter so pricy maintinence is to be expected. I have already rode 35 miles and my scooter is still like brand new. Perfect for food delivery and not bulky at all compared to bikes. I am a beginner and can’t even balance on a bike. This is easy to balance on and goes very fast! Feels like I’m flying! It’s good for flat grounds but little bumps too. Also it is a kick start scooter and takes a second or 2 for the motor to kick in. It doesn’t bother me because it’s for safety. I’m kind of worried about the wheels because it’s air filled. So it would have to be changed to something more sturdy but 35 miles in- no problem!

287 miles down and I know I have plenty more to go! This makes for a good scooter to commute with or just ride for leisure. This scooter is good for asphalt, sidewalks and dry packed off road surfaces. This scooter can get up most inclines, but it will slow down by 30-50% of max speed (20 mph). The company says this scooter has a 45 mile range on it, HOWEVER, I’ve only been able to get 25 miles max from it, but it’s enough for me though.

I got this as a replacement over my GoTrax Apex scooter and this one has so much more improvement and speed compared to it tires a lot better for the road and the battery life can take me at least 2 trips back from work and home on one charge on L2 mode (20 mph) overall definitely a huge improvement from my original scooter.

I bought this version cause of the mileage on every charge. So far I really enjoy the scooter and the fact that I’m saving money on parking. For me going 20 MPH on every use, it definitely hasn’t achieved 45 miles per charge. I like all the features it has as well. Coded to use and a built in lock. The lights are an added bonus as well. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this scooter about 10 mouths ago. It always bot me from point a to b. The battery life is "diffrent" I should say, going 20 mph it lasts about 10-15 miles, and on low it lasts about 25 miles. All tho it's a good scotter it does have its flaws. A while ago I had an accident with the scoter and when I took a look at it I saw that the screws from the handle bar had broken off so there for the handle bars went flying off and cause a crash. So the summary is if you are thinking of purchaseing this scooter I highly Recommand checking all the screws and parts to make sure their good and titened

Charged the scooter at least 3 times and haven’t even reached 45 miles. I’m barely at 20 miles and already charged it 3 times. I ride it in the 2nd mode and weight 160 pounds & the streets are 99% flat. Not sure why it’s such bad battery. It does hit 18-20 miles of speed.

I bought 2 of the GMAXULTRA scooters last year, and they were both in a accident and badly damaged, and I had the extended warranty and got them fully replace. The customer service was great. One of the replacements had issue and they fully replaced it. I will only purchase gotrax scooters.

I purchased 2 GMAX scooters so the wife and I could cruse around town. We have had a blast venturing around Spokane. the only thing i would like if the scooters had a suspension. lots of large cracks in the sidewalks that make for rough riding. Overall, very happy with the GMAX! 57 Years young and loving it!

This is the 2nd scooter I bought. First the G4 and my wife wanted it! So I bought the GMAX Ultra and already have 40 miles in it. We love cruising around downtown Tampa! Go Bucs

This is my second Gotrax. My first slower one battery only lasted a year. I bought the 20 MPH 42 mile distance one in January and I had a hard time getting it started but over time figured out how to make it work. What you do is enter your code, then movei to the next code and enter and repeat the 3rd code. Then it returns to the first code and you repeat your code on to the 2nd and 3rd repeatedly and after a short time it will give you the ready to run code. It took me awhile to figure it out. I hope this helps other users having the same way I experienced.

I bought my Apex scooter 2 weeks ago already got a flat tire hard as heck to put back together after putting a new tube in had to find a professional for the job after 4 bike shops finally found one to fix it.I got the flat after 88 miles just for a reference on how long it lasted.Its 15.5 miles an hour is accurate but doesn't have the range advertising I weigh 165 pounds it's weight limit is 220 .I love riding it though I wish already I could go faster.

Really happy with all my Gotrax scooters. These ones added an extra portion of fun in comparison to our elites. BUT please work on eliminating the styrofoam packaging. It’s horrible for our environment and creates a ton of unnecessary waste. There is lots of options out there like compostable cornstarch packaging and such. PLEASE look into them and help reduce the waste! You have an amazing brand with quality scooters and I know you can perfect the packaging as well!

The GMAX Ultra is built very solid and feels very comfortable riding. It is fun and definitely a beast for city transportation. I love mine!

Very well made and reliable, I really do like it!!!

I bought mine used, with about 40 miles according to its odometer, about 6 months ago and the thing still rides like a dream at over 770 miles on its odometer. I'm still getting 20 ish miles out of a charge if I'm going full throttle at 20mph. The only issue I have is that riding it is quite bumpy. While the air tires help, they are no match for the nonsense that the suburbs of Utah throw at them. Repeated jostling eventually caused the bolt that holds the handlebars upright to snap, although this was easily fixed with a replacement part. It feels fine on a well maintained sidewalk or road, but that is not the situation I use it in. Despite that I still recommend it.
