submitted bySquidward tentacles - 3 years agoA: It's baby generated bounce. Like if your baby were kicking its legs it would bounce but it doesn't bounce because of mechanical manipulation. The vibrating option is battery run. You can turn vibration on or off with the switch.

A: Mobile doesn't spin. Mine doesnt spin manually too.

The Duetconnect Lx with Multi-Direction swing has a roomy seat with recline and head support keep baby cozy. The mobile is stationary, it does not spin. The swing is for babies up to 30lbs who do not attempt to climb out. The portable bouncer seat can be used with babies up to 18lbs.

A: We had a heck of a time getting ours into position, having the same problem. After a couple people looked at it we figured it out. Maybe try a fresh set of eyes? It just needed to go into another hole to stay in place. Hope that helps.

When the DuetConnect LX Multi-Direction Baby Swing and Bouncer is used in swing mode, we recommend discontinuing the use of the product when your little one is able to climb out (approximately 9 months) or reaches 30 lbs, whichever comes first. When the product is used in bouncer mode, we recommend discontinuing the use of the product when your little one starts trying to sit up or has reached 18 lbs, whichever comes first. I bought this item a few days ago from a friend who never used it and it was working fine. After a few times just turning it on with no child in it the swing stopped working and will not swing anymore. I’m very sad since I was extremely excited for this item and I am frustrated it broke so fast with no weight in it at all! Sadly not very good quality especially for the price.

It was bought for us as a gift off my registry with my with my first child is 2021 and we used it for a a few months until she got to big for it. Put it into storage for over a year and pulled it back out this year for our second child. It still works like brand new with no issue!!! I never wrote a review when we got it but I had to now since it going strong. I’d recommend it and I’m very satisfied with it.

I loved the idea of a swing that swings in multiple directions because I've read that doesn't babies prefer one direction over another. Unfortunately, the swing doesn't work. The green light blinks, but the motor does not appear to run. So now it's just an overpriced bouncer.

Absolutely looove this swing . I don't know why there are any bad reviews. It's a swing and bouncer that can change directions so depending which way your baby likes swinging you can definitely accommodate. Lots of nature noises and lullabies and speeds to choose from. It's a great price for everything it offers so I definitely recommend it. I get that some babies might not like certain things but I don't think people should give a product 1 star just because they have a fancy baby 😂

Mobile fell on my baby's face

the mobile doesn't spin on its own. we were so surprised! in spinning it with my hands while I was home alone with the baby, it (hard plastic) fell directly onto her face! the swing does make a terribly loud noise/creak as it rocks back and forth. this contraption is also huge and we've never disconnected it to use it as a bouncer as I wouldn't be able to comfortably carry the seat without my baby inside. baby's head always rolls to the side too and is now scrunched. at 5 months she seems too big for it.

Bought this swing for my newborn after he hated the 4moms swing. I thought this would be a great swing and last well if it was treated well. No-completely wrong. Swinging function doesn’t work anymore. I don’t know what to do as a parent who lives very close to paycheck to paycheck. I’m just really disappointed.

My baby falls asleep in this swing, very relaxing. He is 13 months old and still fits good in it. Very happy with purchase. When he was a newborn his head wouldn’t stay upright just as with the car seat, we rolled a baby swaddling blanket and that helped.

Got this swing from my sis-in-law about a month ago(her baby didn't like it). Our baby LOVED it! Wanted to be in it constantly because it is able to swing front to back & has vibrations. We have had it for about a month & I can already tell the swinging has slowed down tremendously and it makes an awful creaking noise. I really wish that it would last, but I think it's about done for away a month of use.

Really pretty style but super disappointed on comfort. the seat does not recline so it stays in a sitting position so not ideal for a new born or a baby that cannot support his head yet. Also not ideal if the purpose it to help baby relax/nap at any age. Who wants to sleep sitting down? Oh and detaching it to make bouncer is very difficult. I wish I didn't throw the box away, I would have returned asap.

This is literally the worst swing we’ve ever had. The seat doesn’t recline back enough for anyone under 6 months to comfortably sit in the seat. The fall to the side regardless of how tight you put them in. And the company says it reclines, but it does not. Worst graco product invented. The mobile also doesn’t move.

Swing has been in regular use for less than two months with a child who is four months old and weighs 13lbs. The swing has gradually been slowing down and now will no longer maintain speed. It will begin at a good pace only to eventually slow to a complete stop. After two weeks of this we noticed the bar of the removable seat is now also intermittently hitting the ground and slowing the swing. I sent a letter over two weeks ago to Graco’s customer support and have not heard back from anyone. I am disappointed in this product. For something to cost nearly $200 and stop working after two months of use despite my child being well within the age and weight restrictions is unacceptable. I will not be recommending this product to anyone.
