I received this as a gift and I really like it, for the most part. I love the versatility of this stroller and the many seating options. My only issue is it is a pretty bumpy ride for my 6 week old. I almost feel like it needs shocks and Suspension! Going on a walk to the park my baby was bouncing all over the place, which woke her up :(. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This beautiful stroller was quite literally a big surprise. It came to me by chance and this fantastic company let me keep it. Wow. Who wouldn’t love a brand new stroller at her doorstep? Honestly it was a surprise and delight to receive this. Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Stroller. Before I get into this travel system I will give you a little background. First, I have two daughter, a four year old firecracker who wouldn’t relax in a stroller after age 6 months. My one year old is much more relaxed and let’s me stroll her around. I have received strollers secondhand. The strollers were great but brand new the strollers were not ones I would purchase due to price. There was many pros and cons to both. Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX was the first stroller I have ever had to put together. I am not great at putting things together and always need everything step by step. The directions were clear and I put it together quickly. Once it was set up I was surprised by how lovely it really was, better than the picture. The wheels are fantastic and therefore this stroller is very easy to maneuver. Folding it was not difficult but I did have to look it up. It was not obvious and it would definitely have to be explained to a babysitter. Once folded this stroller is big. I don’t notice this when I use it. It provides my toddler with a comfortable ride, she could easily sleep in it. However, the drawback is definitely the size. I use a Rav4 and this stroller takes up a lot of room in my trunk which has a lot of space. My husband noted this and he never really comments about anything (with the exception he hates side by side double strollers for space reasons also). Since my daughter is a toddler I did not use the car seat option. The pros are definitely the maneuverability, comfort and the design. This is a beautiful stroller. It also has fun features like cup holders for both parents and the baby. My girl enjoys having easy access to her cup and snacks! In addition the storage is amazing. Underneath the stroller is a fantastic size storage compartment could definitely fit a few bags. If you go on long walks or use strollers all the time for naps this is great. The con is mainly the size. This is very big and not light as described. However, for the price this stroller is really great. I hope this is helpful. Best of luck in your stroller endeavor.
I absolutely love this stroller, probably just as much as my toddler. The fact that this stroller was extremely easy to open and close, and isn't as bulky as my previous one was a win win for me. I love the several rear and front options. I didn't have to fight with my toddler to stay seated. I received this as part of a panel in WeeSpring and couldn't be happier. I'm excited to be able to strap the baby stroller to this once I give birth also.
I received the Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX Stroller to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. What surprised me most was its versatility. I have a 7 month old and a 2 ½ year old, and it worked great for both of them. I can push my toddler in the stroller while wearing my baby, or push my baby while my toddler walks (or both in the same walk/outing if I remember to stash a carrier in the basket!) I was also quite impressed by the materials used. The seat is soft and nicely cushioned for little bottoms. The design of the Pierce Fashion color option is a nice neutral champagne and black with a fun pattern on the strap covers. The large canopy with visor extension is great for evening walks when the sun is low in the sky. My favorite feature of this stroller is how easy it is to switch around the seat. The seat lifts off by pushing a button on each side while lifting up, then it can be easily clicked back into place facing forward or backwards, or replaced by a Graco click connect car seat. I love the rear facing option for both the seat and car seat, especially since my daughter is starting the lovely separation anxiety phase! It's nice to also be able to click her car seat into the base facing forward so she can look around. A close second best feature is how simple the stroller is to fold. It has a sturdy plastic handle with a button to squeeze to fold. The seat does need to be facing out to fold it, but it's a simple flip. The plastic handle closure fees so solid in comparison to the strap handle closure of other strollers, and is much more comfortable to use. The base alone does close with a strap, but it's closing only the frame and not the entire weight of the stroller. A few more notable features are the multiple cup holders and storage basket. I can bring drinks and snacks galore. The basket is a great size and so easy to access! Overall, this is a fantastic stroller, and I would recommend it. Keep in mind, though, that it is not a lightweight stroller. I gave it 4 stars because it is quite a bit heavier than I expected, even for a full sized stroller. Thank you so much weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me it to try!
I was so excited to get the Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX stroller for baby 3 after using a different brand through my first 2 kiddos! The assembly was really easy with the exception of one step for the wheels (which I eventually figured out). I absolutely love all the options in terms of seating positions - really convenient for all types of use. With baby at 6 months, it's great to have a mom-facing seat, but then be able to switch it up for an exploring toddler to a front-facing option. The tray is really nice, at a perfect distance from the seat and the parent console is GREAT, which is lacking in a lot of strollers. The under-seat storage is also a great size and very accessible. What I found very confusing was that the "one-handed fold" - which I could not figure out! I was taking the seat off for folding, which does not make this a "one-handed" option for me. Additionally, the amount of room needed to store it (i.e. in the back of a car) is much greater than previous strollers I have had and makes it challenging for small trunk space. Two really bulky pieces does not make for a convenient on-the-go option. It is also a bit longer than other strollers I have used. Overall, I really like the options this presents and its a great choice for baby comfort. The bulkiness of the storage is a turn off and makes it one of at least two options I need to have on hand for strollers. *I received this item as part of the weeSpring parent panel.
I have two sons which are 14 months apart (currently 23 & 8 months) and with warmer weather coming my husband and I were looking for a second stroller for our youngest. We were given the Graco Modes 3 Stroller as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and we couldn't be happier with it. It's got convenient features for parents - cup/phone holders, a large basket, and a super easy one-handed close feature (it really is SO easy) - and nice features for kids - the back lays nearly flat, it has adjustable knee rests and a nicely padded seat (seems more comfortable for our son than our other stroller of a different brand). Even though I would classify this as a larger stroller, it's compact and is not super heavy - I can easily fold it up with one hand and lift it into the car while holding either of my boys (they both love it). Additionally, it's got a super smooth ride, very loose steering and the turn radius is tight. My favorite feature however, is the linked lock on the rear wheels. You don't have to lock/unlock both wheels separately, but can just flick one of the levers and because they're linked they both lock/unlock. The lever for this is kind of small, so sometimes I have to try several times to lock or unlock - definitely not a deal-breaker (more of an inconvenience) but wish the lever was designed a little better. We do not have the bassinet or any other accessories, so I can't comment on how those work, but the stroller itself is awesome!
I will admit that the Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX Stroller in Pierce Fashion and I got off on the wrong foot... I was excited to open the box and check this stroller out. I received it as part of the weeSpring parent panel and I needed to use/review it in a timely manner. One evening my baby was finally asleep and my other children were quietly watching tv, so it was the perfect time to take a look at this stroller. I opened the box and the stroller was in pieces... I had to assemble it. This isn't a huge deal, but it was noisy and a pain taking it out of the box and woke up my sleeping baby. I had to put the box aside and there it sat for a bit until I found some kid-free time to assemble it. Once I did, I was impressed and happy with the Graco Modes 3 Lite DLX Stroller in Pierce Fashion stroller! It has a great look to it and seems sturdy and easy to use. It's so easy to push and maneuver, which is key when having to weave in and out of clothing racks, shelves, isles and other people when out and about. The front wheel swivels and moves easily too, which was a make or break item for my husband. Previously we had a different stroller and the front wheel would randomly catch and lock which was so frustrating. I can't stress how easy it is to move this stroller around! I love the fact that pushing down one of the rear wheel lock levers locks both rear wheels. There is also a wheel lock on the front wheel which is nice when getting bigger kids/babies in and out of the stroller. There's so many surprising features with this stroller. The ability to pull the seat out and turn it rear or front facing makes configuring this stroller a breeze! The adjustable foot bed is great too! Being able to turn it into a carriage bed for our 8 month old is a great feature. I'm so happy I finally took the time to assemble the stroller and give it a go or two!
