It contains no preservatives, artificial flavors or artificial colors and is fat free, gluten free and Kosher. Grandma's Molasses is made from 100% sugarcane juice. After the sugarcane is cut and crushed, the juices are extracted and boiled. The two grades of Grandma’s Molasses are created by the length of the boiling process. When I saw this at first I thought it’s some type of syrup and tried to look at the ingredients or where and how it is made from..?? Not listed However, I am an Egyptian and we make the same from sugarcane, we frequently with pita bread and other type of Middle East baking bread. We add a little of Tahini on the top of molasses in the plate and we dip in!!

Works perfectly for gingerbread recipes to add that classic flavor. Sturdy jar and no problems with the lid. All stores near me were out of molasses except for Target, and these worked great for my recipe!
