The H2OGO! Rainbow Blobz is 54 sq. ft. of endless fun in the sun! Watch as kids bounce, slide, or lounge around on this cool blobz. Fill it up with water through the nozzle on the top, which makes the surface cool and relaxing on a hot day. Add a splash of fun by connecting a garden hose for the sprinkler to shoot up water onto the blob surface, keeping it wet and giving kids something extra while they play and stay cool on a hot summer day. There's also an internal beam for increased stability. All you need for the simple set-up process is a garden hose and a flat and debris-free surface! At the end of the day, water drains out easily through the nozzle on the top or the valve at the bottom. The blobz is made with super durable vinyl to prevent any damage or holes, but just in case, it comes with a heavy-duty repair patch to ensure that the fun will last!
Bought this for a backyard birthday party to have something different from the pool and sprinkler. You can't help but be drawn to it; the kids were having lots of fun on it. Granted it was only used for a few hours, but my 10 year old nephew was doing running jumps onto it (in addition to the other younger kids just playing on it) and it held up just fine. It is indeed very thick plastic. Our backyard is not completely level (slight incline) and it worked/filled just fine. Draining was tricky and took a lot of work; next time I will note where the drain plug is and arrange it so gravity works in our favor.
My son absolutely loves this thing! He flops, splashes, runs, and makes it jiggle... It's also great for me when it dries off and I have a nice cool place to layout and get some sun and read. I think it's the best 20 bucks ever spent! Very sturdy, we had about 500 pounds worth of folks on it at one time.
I have made DIY water blobs before using thick plastic sheeting, but they always pop after a few hours of rough play. I saw this and thought I would pick it up for our block party, but assumed that it would pop like the others I made in the past. We had a a ton of kids and adults on this all evening and to my surprise it held up perfectly! The only downside was the mud pit it created as we drained it. I can’t believe I found a better water blob for less than the plastic sheeting I bought in the past!
It’s fun for the children! 2 different holes you put the water hose in. One fills the sprinkler side the other fills the outside ring. We filled it way too full so it was a little hard to walk on. And the water didn’t lay in the middle. The next time we used it didn’t fill up as full, so water stayed on mat and was “slippery”. Only had it up 2 different days because we didn’t want the grass to die. Draining does take a while. Filling it went fast. Make sure u set it up on a even part of the yard. If you don’t, it won’t fill up. Its made out of strong plastic and can stand a good amount of weight walking on it. Kids age 5 1/2 and 3 and a adult played on it. I bought it on sale. It’s awesome for the price.
I was a little hesitant buying this for my sons 3rd birthday party as I wasn’t sure it would keep the kids occupied for long- turned out to be the highlight of the party! We also had a slip and slide, a blow up pool and some water guns but all of the kids (ages ranging from 3-10) were drawn to this blob. It kept them all entertained for the entire party and then some. If I hadn’t been afraid of popping it and ruining the party, I would have been on it too- It looked like a ton of fun!
