Q: Is the squalane sourced from sharks or olives?

Q: in 2021 has the formula changed? i do not see the hydroxyethyl urea now listed ?
A: Thank you for the question. The formula has not changed for this product since 2017 and does contain hydroxyethyl urea. It is listed as the second ingredient on the label info section.

Q: If methylisothiazolinone was removed from the ingredients in 2016 then why is that ingredient still listed on the item description? When I purchased it it listed phenyoxyethanol instead.
A: Hello and thanks for your question. If you are referring to the website – www.Hadalabotokyo.com, we apologize as this is still in the process of being updated. The ingredient – methylisothiazolinone - was removed from the product, just not our website.

Q: Did the formula change recently? When I purchased it a few months ago it did not have methylisothiazolinone in it.
A: Yes, there was a formula change. We removed methylisothiazolinone from the Hada Labo Tokyo™ Skin Plumping Gel Cream in 2016.
