Didn't make sense to my child. She liked her hair less because she perceived the main character as never being satisfied with her hair the way it is.

I love this book. The ending is slightly different from the short film, which a real subject, but a bit heavy for small kids. My 2 year old daughter asks me to read it on repeat.

The story is great, the book itself had bubbles on the inside cover where the paper is glued to the cover and the corners of the book were smashed, odd to have a poor quality hardcover book but besides that my daughter loves it.
