Hamilton Beach 10 Cup Food Processor- Stainless 70760: Black, 500W, 2 Speeds, Shredder & Chopper, Dishwasher-Safe Parts

It’s 10 years today i bought this food processor, still up and running, I’m so happy with my purchase, I bought this on black Friday 2014 and today is 2024 still sharp and responsive. Also it’s really easy to wash all parts ( not electrical part obviously)

first use: smells like burning rubber/wiring. 2nd use the same. returning it ASAP

I bought this to replace an older Hamilton Beach processor that lasted us nearly a decade, but over time it had developed a burning smell and I was already keeping an eye on replacements. Finally a piece of the bowl snapped off, and I couldn't find a replacement part. This model seemed like an updated version of our old machine. However, it also came with a burning smell that started from the first time I used it. The manual said this may be a normal result of lubrication from the factory, and it would fade in time. For 5 months I have used it and the smell never got any better. Finally, today it started pouring black smoke while I was trying to grate some cheese. I unplugged it and put it outside in case it was in danger of starting an electrical fire. The smell was awful, like burnt plastic, and it left behind little bits of black substance on my counter that looked like a cross b/t charcoal and plastic. (I've included a picture) Unfortunately, it looks like Hamilton Beach has cut the quality of their components or testing, or both. Mine should still be under warranty; I've emailed them about what happened, but I'm still going to shell out for a more expensive competitor.

This is the replacement processor because the first one did the same thing and I returned it. It has a burning smell every time I use it and suddenly stopped working after a few uses. Unable to exchange again

Very powerful, fast & easy to clean!

This food processor is incredible, it is very powerful, very compact, it is absolutely PERFECT. The design of this food processor is very smart. After use, it is very easy to clean AND it is dishwasher safe. I had been looking for a compact food processor for a while and this exceeded my expectations. If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!

I've had this exact model for 9 years. I've never had a single issue with it and it has been able to handle everything I've ever attempted. Straight forward design, ready to use right out of the box. For the price, you can't beat it.

I had been looking for a simple but good food prcoessor to replace an old one I had. Like others have said, you can pretty much use it right out of the box. (I suggest taking a quick look at the positioning of the bowl before putting ingredients in.) The fact that it stores easily is an added plus.

We bought this food processor for its features and compact design. However we found that the mouth on it is too small and hence we had to return it. The return process in the store was very efficient which is a big convenience for me to buy online from Target.

So far so good. Used it once to grate some potatoes for hash browns and it did the job. To be honest, I thought I bought the Oster food processor and when this one arrived, I had to go back and look at my order. My bad..I remember having both in the cart. I guess I took off the wrong one.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it! Great for homemade hummus, sauces, and nice cream( frozen bananas) etc. I would recommend this to friends and family.

My wife is extremely happy with this product, during the holidays she used it to chop vegetables, crab, shrimp and sliced potatoes.

I like the design; the fact that it does not take up lots of counter space. Easy to clean although I think the plastic bowl etc. is not as thick of plastic as was that of my very old processor. I also like the fact it has just 3 actions; on off and pulse. Simple to use. Suction cups on the bottom make the processor sturdy during processing.

It is not super heavy duty but it fits our needs. Excellent price.

Works very well for what it was designed to do. Besides giving good results for it was designed to do it is simple to use, clean and compact to store, all at a reasonable price.

This unit replaced an old one (different brand) which was a real hassle to dismantle. This unit has excellent power

Recently had wrist surgery and unable to cut, slice or dice anything. Never had food processor, but thought this was perfect time to try one out. Ordered the 10 cup 70760 model. Wanted to make french onion soup that requires a lot of chopped onions so when the processor was delivered, of course, I had to try asap. Little nervous using 1st time, but was very happy it chopped the onions in a blink of the eye. Looking forward to using with lots of recipes. Fits nicely on my small kitchen counter and happy with all the features on appliance. Don't know why I waited so long to get a product that reduces the time to slice, shred, chop.

It was stylish and was very easy to use. It cut my work time in half. It was a great value.

So easy to use and a million things to make, blade is so incredibly sharp! Made a strawberry sorbet out of rock hard frozen strawberries in 5 minutes! Couldn't imagine having a smaller bowl either, the 10 cups holds the perfect amount!
